Beautiful weather here (60s today and sunny). Hope we don't have to pay for this in January and February.
We'll cross that bridge, when we come to it...in the meantime, continue riding.

Snow. Sloppy wet snow. Not the powder we usually get.

Monday it's supposed to really snow with a big temp drop so that should be some good snow.

82f here in Kailua, a fewcwhispy white clouds.

FESTAR and I had a nice 140 mile ride around the island yesterday.

I finally found a Motorcycle seat worse than the stock FJR seat. They must have used the same Ass to design the Yamaha Bolt seat that they used for the FJR. Other than that the 39,000 mile Bolt needed some suspension work but was adequate to the round island adventure.

Not bad today for December 11th. Took the bike out for about 100 miles on what for me is the latest in the season ride ever! Usually by mid November it is done in this part of the country. The highest I saw the temp go on my rise was 54 degrees. And I went skiing Monday for the first time of the season and Tuesday went back out with the GF. Picked up our season passes and I got a new set of skis and bindings!

While those of us in the East are gloating on the fortunes of our good weather, I remember a ride January 14, 2012 with Puppychow, Madmike2, Bugnater, Borkerfork, Bluestreek, Sacramento Mike, and a number of other Sacramento riders over 8800 foot Ebbetts Pass. This is a seasonal pass closed in winter and no way should we have been able to ride here at this time of year.

Good group

Puppychow decided to have a flat tire. He fixed it by rolling a joint.

Madmike2 has a fuel cell malfunction and Bugnator and Puppychow are not impressed.

Pretty damn nice ride for January!

I was leading the ride and manged to avoid all photographic evidence. Forget you ever saw this, even with global warming, it will never happen again.

Ahh some good memories Tom and even my 04 was there. I do believe we could have done that same ride this year in January. With the drought there wasn't much on the hill back then. Heck I rode my Hondapotamas up through Truckee (23 degrees) and down around the east side of Tahoe where I snagged 395 all the way south to see Gramps in SoCal plus I returned that same route.

They just closed 120 Tioga pass on Wednesday this week.

Muchas Gracias mi Amigo Tomaso, I do believe that this is the only known picture of weirdo Marky-Mark Bokerfork where he is not playing with himself! JSNS, el Perverto ese!

We made 72. Light wind. Light traffic. It was a great day for rides. After a two up ride on the Rocket III Touring, I hopped on the '08 FJR for a spirited run on the Pilot Power tires. Great fun.

A foot of snow so far and it's still at it. The power is out also so I'm exercising the generator. I wish I had a bigger Gen set so I could run the heat pump but if I get cold the water bed will still be warm.:) :) :)

Record breaking warmth. 65 degrees F at 10:00 PM tonight. Even the Harleys are out cruising Christmas lights. I'm heading to Zanesville in the morning for a SEO Ramble preview.
