It rained here yesterday in Phoenix, actually rained pretty hard! Do you folks know why it rained in Arizona? Because FJRGuy and his Lady Jill are down here from Calgary, Alberta Canuckistan; eh! Jeff and Jill attended our Annual AZ Beemers Holiday Party last night, rolling up one a rented Honda Cruiser: In The Rain, eh!

What is up with these Frostbacks dragging their wet and cold weather along with them everywhere they go? Almost as bad as those Floridians who brought up buckets and buckets of rain with them to EOM, I won't mention any names (actually, it was majicmaker and LKLD!). JSNS!

Snowed all night and the power is still out. Hope the tractor will start cause the block heater hasn't been on.

It was nice at Bryce today. Temps between 16 and 43. Sorta had an inversion thing going on where the upper altitudes were warmer than the lower.

We had a clear day between storms. I had never been over there in the winter and today seemed like a good time.

Did not ride the FJR. Drove the Tacoma.

Big storm moving in tonight.

About 50F and pouring rain. Looks like we might have a green christmas in the north land this year.

.... I just jinxed it didn't I?

Still raining and crappy here in Phoenix, because Albertans FJRGuy Jeff and Jill from Calgary are still here eh! JSNS, Canuckistanis eh!

72 degrees yesterday. It was nice to ride with no cold weather gear at all. Supposed to rain all week, so I compensated in advance by overlubing everything south of the seat.

FJRay, I feel your pain. I'll be plowing snow again in about two hours. Four fresh inches, still coming down lightly.

Did another 100 mile ride today with the thermometer on the bike reading 54 for a high and 39 for a low. Went down into Crawford Notch and then over to Franconia Notch stopping at Cannon Mountain. I thought I might go take a few runs at Bretton Woods but decided to hop on the bike instead. Not often I can ride in December and I will have all winter to ski. If winter ever arrives?

Snowing steady. Cleared the driveway twice today and it's got another 2" on it now.

City snowplows aren't keeping up. Looking for +12 low tonight.

Snow supposed to end sometime tomorrow.

I hear that. And I'm in no big rush to get to ski season. I'm sure it will come, and be long enough.

Our son, who lives in VT, spent the weekend on Camel's Hump. They hiked up Saturday, spent the night 1/2 mile from the top and then hiked to the top for a sunrise breakfast. You don't do that in December without crampons very often. Not even snow covered on the top yet.

Supposed to be sunny and 60F tomorrow in Indy! FJR for sure. Oops, 51. Still riding the big girl.

70 ish and absolutely gorgeous today after last evenings cool front. Was in 80's. Took advantage of day off and good weather by riding about 200 miles today. (Still had chores to do). Time for 8k service.

Rode mine to work at a frigid 67 degrees. Supposed to be 47 for my ride home in the morning. I will probably set my grip heaters to "medium". I have no idea what they would be set on if I had a '16 instead of a '15. Probably the same exact temperature but it would have to be called a different name... Don't know how I will make it all the way home without a 6th gear.
