Got about 2" of snow the last couple of days. Gentle breeze blowing making it feel about ZERO. The roads have some snow, ice and LOTS of salt on them. Come on spring!

It's supposed to start snowing around noon and keep it up all night. Sure glad to see the snow pack in the mountains.

-15C this morning on the way to work. Calling for about 10" of the white **** by tomorrow morning.

I've got the keys for the plow (aka: Earth Pig), gonna get my push on tonight!

I figure we have had 44 inches of snow, but just three inches so far in January. Forecast is for more on Saturday and Monday. I've plowed nine times. With this ongoing drought, I swore I would not ***** at snow. So far, I'm holding my tongue as we do need it: make the pastures lush and green, get the forests good and wet, fill the rivers and streams for our farmer/rancher irrigators, and for the fish and fisherpersons and floaters.

Got about a foot of fresh stuff on the ground. Gonna have me some breakie and fire up Earth Pig and go push it around.

34f here in Apache Junction, looking for a high near 60 for Don's Memorial and Wake.

Those of us in the Aloha Shirt Brigade are feeling a bit "Nipply". Sorry, no pix, JSNS

Idaho duh. Snowed lightly the last 2 days making the finale of duck season pleasant. Brining till tomorrow and then smoking some duck jerky. Today it snowed all day. Broke out the old trusty Honda snowblower this evening; maybe 18" in the yard. The roads are terrifying right now. Staying home and watching football with the FJR and Tenere on the tenders awaiting spring.

Snow.

Very little compared with the north americas, but very picturesque.

And, while I could manoeuvre the bike out to the top of my drive, ...

... there's no way I could ride it up or down the drive ...

... so, motorcycling-wise, I'm stuck.

At least until tomorrow.

Today
snowshowers.png
Day: Cloudy with snow showers likely. Highs around 18°F. Wind chill values as low as -9°F. West wind 13 to 19 MPH, gusting to 27 MPH. Chance of precipitation 70 percent. New snow accumulation between half an inch and one inch possible.

The wind blows, kills any incentive for going to the target range. I need another winter hobby.
