5...no, 6 inches of snow and counting. Sure could use Ray and his tractor about now.
We could work something out but I doubt you could afford it. I gotta finish mine first.

Less than 0 degree Celsius at 4 pm, and this morning, at 7am less than -5 degree Celsius... Strong winds... Winter is coming...

Pretty "F'n" nice today, tomorrow, and Wednesday...https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=41.23384320000008&lon=-81.82462620000001#.WpRG4q6nGUl
My son and his girlfriend were in Columbus over the weekend doing a photo shoot with wolves from a sanctuary. Warmer there than here...go figure.

I'm a coupla hours south of Joe and it's pretty nice today, but I'm skeered - there's this big orange thing in the sky. I thought the sky should always be grey??

You DO realize that I'm in the Columbus area, right?

That sounds like a line from a country song.

About 2 miles as the crow flies from Bugnatr, but at 3,000 feet, I came home from GF's house in Sacramento (sunny when I left this morning) to 8" of white stuff at my house. The 'Baru made it up the road, but only got about 30' up my driveway where it makes a hard uphill left. That is where it sits parked. I walked the last hundred yards to the house and started a fire. That was three hours ago and it's just now getting to a decent temperature in here.We really didn't have winter in December or January this year, so I guess we're having it now.

I thought you lived by a concrete corn cob out side of Marysville

-10 this morning but no snow to plow. Supposed to be more Thursday. I think winter finally found central Oregon.

A bit of extra salt water washing into places that shouldn't have it, here on the coast. Pet peeve: lived my long life with storms without names. Now storms are named. Sigh. What is this new crap "bomb cyclone"? Give me a friggin' break already.

Here in the "Banana Belt" It Is 28f Gloomy and there is freezing fog. Blizzard supposed to start this evening. I have a 0630 Flight to Daytona in the morning. 50/50 chance is my guess. The predicted snowfall keeps moving North and East so maybe I'll get lucky. AbercrombieFJR should be snowed in and working on the Baja Ride Report!

About a foot of snow (plus wind) yesterday and last night, another foot or so forecast tonight into Saturday night.

Parts of the Northeast are getting hit pretty badly for this late in the season. In my area, unlike most of the region, we never really had a sufficient thaw to clear out the all the old snow so all of this is on top of a base that was already a couple feet deep.

At least temperatures aren't too cold with daytime highs hovering just above freezing.

I'll be very fortunate if I make my St. Patrick's Day target for a first ride of the season!

Pretty fortunate where I'm at. Low 30's this morning with a high around 40 expected. Chance of snow forecast for Sunday night/Monday morning but even the chances of that are fairly low. Hoping it continues to miss me.

Sorry guys.

Has hit 40 here for the past few days and looks to continue for the foreseeable future. Now our copious snow and ice can become copious mud and slush.

24F when I left this morning. Warmnsafe jacket liner and aerostich suit. Could have just as well been 70.

Kind of kool here in Daytona Beach. High 30's last night, yould have thought folks, were going to die, I'm surprised they didn't cancel school. The Geezers on their Geezer Glides were all breaking out the heated gear and anti-freeze. The girls,at the beer tent and bar behind our booth were quite "Nipply". Got up to 67 while I was running errands trying to get the bosses phone repaired, did you know they still make parts for an Apple 4s? Interstate 95 is a race track, speed limit 70, you have to move at 85 to keep up with traffic, when you get on the freeway you have to be careful of said geezers on their Geezer Glides as it is quite easy to run over them while merging at FJR nominal velocity. The Acceleration difference is,almost dangerous as you have to check six for traffic while monitoring 10-2 for slowly merging geezerglides. I've had several give me a hard stare and even one finger for passing them in the merge zone after moving into the driving or middle lane. Sunday is forecast for 78 and possible thunder showers. Mot missing the weather at home one bit.

Broke the convertible out today and went for a short spin to the lumber store

Bike(s) next week.....

Well, we didn't get the foot of show forecast for Friday-Saturday. Just 5" of the heaviest possible **** that the snowblower would barely move. The slush at the end of the driveway was too much for my 22 year-old blower so some shovel work was needed.

There is, however, yet another Nor'easter in the forecast - expected to bring something on the order of 15" (30 to 45 cm) for Tuesday/Wednesday, according to Accuweather.

Perhaps they are overestimating this one as well?

Edit: Downgraded to 20-35 cm (8 to 14").

Plan to roll out of town Tuesday afternoon and arrive in Daytona for the TT Thursday evening. Hoping the weather cooperates.

Heres the proposed route once I cross the border.
