The fricking Ground Hog was full of *****!

60's on Friday, 50's on Saturday, today we have 20's and ice fog and snow.

The rest of the week doesn't look any better.

I live a bit south of Punsuxatawney and today was 60 and summy, and even better tomorrow. Warm most of this week with rain on Thursday, but Phil got it right for a change.

I have ridden to Punsuxatawney on Groundhog day, but this year was still too cold. One day later, not so much.

So a few days ago the weather folks said we would get a trace of snow in the low lands. Guess I'm in the highlands.

Rain, rain, rain in the Los Angeles area. I think I've seen more rain in the last two weeks than the last two years combined. ...well, maybe. Seems we had an unusually wet winter 2 or 3 years ago too.

Anyhow, my 8 year old commented the other day that she has never seen California so green!

Not to worry, soon it will all turn brown, then burn, then if we get another wet year next winter there will he mudslides. And repeat. Haha.

Spent a couple hours this morning plowing white **** in 18 degree temp. Makes me almost look forward to getting in the shop and working on Carver stuff.

I guess I'm paying for a few days of sunny riding in Death Valley.

****** and about to get Shittier - It has been cold for the past 4 days, intermittent snow showers, just enough to be a pain in the *** every morning and every night. Roads are snow-packed and slippery as hell. Winter Weather warning until 11:00 AM tomorrow with another 3-6" expected, then Cold all next week with snow predicted most of next week too.
Really glad I got my bike trailer out from under the deck and moved up alongside the driveway. The cottontail bunnies like it to as there is clear lawn underneath which they are pulling out by the frozen roots.
The dogs make a bee-line to the trailer each time I let them out in hope of a Hasenpfeffer meal.

Can't wait until February 27th when I will jerk that trailer out of the snowbank, load "Freya" and head for Texas!

Got up at 4:00 am and turned on the Air Conditioner. Too hot to sleep.

I really need to cut my grass but it won't stop raining long enough for the yard to dry.

Went ice fishing on Saturday, opened a beer only to have it come flowing to the top of the bottle, and freeze as it came out of the top. Kind of like a self feeding freeze pop (beer!).

-6F real feel -3F, cold, clear, no wind.

16 degrees and ice here. Just got a good deal on a FZ1 for my kid but I have to trailer it back to the shop.

Woke up to find that mother nature had deposited about a foot of white **** in the yard and it's still coming down at about 2 inches an hour. Gonna be a fun day on the tractor. I have 3/4 mile of road to maintain. Almost makes working on Carver's KZ1300 look good.

Same thing today. I had it all cleaned up and another foot overnight. It's supposed to last for two more days. You folks to the east better get ready. I think I'm ready for spring.

New tire on the FJ 09 yesterday and 50 degrees Wednesday so I should be able to break it in then. Our weather has been going back and forth between single digits and 50 degrees about every four days, which gives me one or two days a week to ride.

I've been getting a day or two here and there as well...the bike was so trashed that I actually washed it yesterday and put it back in the front of the garage, so I could pull my car in.
