Yea, Like that Alt rider skid plate... Ill prolly build my own but looks good... I also like there bar risers. I'm probably going to need to raise the bars 1" or so, this might be an option for me.. I'm also leaning towards the the Zego pro bags.. But hope to find them a bit cheaper than $1500-$1800.... That seams kinda crazy... Gunna have to cut up the credit card before May just for safety !

My Dearest RadioHowie, Since I've been off riding mi dirt moto in Central Mexico for the last 2 weeks with no access to the Internet; may I kindly just share this little tidbit with you mi buen Amigo: BLOW ME!!!
Now, now, Chuy....don't be gettin' all touchie-feelie on me, m'kay?

" M'Kay "......BBbbwwwhwhahahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa LOL LMFAO ! ! !

What crap are you guys looking into buying for your new beast ? Are you going with stock Yamaha cases ? Are you getting aftermarket ones ? Which ones? What other goodies are you thinking about for this new scooter ? Practical or impractical.... tell us

How many people are selling a current bike to get the new Yamaha, or just to make some room ? What are you selling ? Unfortunately for me im not selling anything, I just added a new one to play with over the winter as a new 'little' project.. Just got a 1971 Honda CB350.. So I guess adding two more to the stable over the next 6mo is not THAT bad.... I'm gunna need a new house with a four car garage...... :p

Things I want are skid plate, prolly build my own

raise the bars

A set of TKC 80's

bags- would like the Zega

What is your wish list ?

I'm sure more stuff will come out, but right now I like the SWMotech engine guards and their quick release case mounts with the black Trax cases (37 L on left and 45L on right). That is only a start:

Wasp Works windshield bracket

possibly 1" riser

Skid plate-SWMotech or a better one???

Alu rack

Yamaha headlight guard and wind deflectors

Ususal stuff: heated gear outlet, AP1 fuse block, heated grips, etc.

doctorj

I agree on the Wasp Works windshield bracket, I'm also looking at a SPOT tracker, and I'm undecided on which GPS to use. I'll probably also add another Ampli-Rider (have one on the FJR, and its all I have since my Autocomm gave up the ghost). I definitely want to stay with just side boxes (want to keep the COG low), but I haven't been looking at any particular ones. Both of my FJR's have had GIVI topboxes, but I'm open to whatever works well, is durable and well-priced.

Another nice video from Cycle World. Ridden aggressively here in Arizona and I love the sound of the pipes!!

You get your OLD, avoirdupois-enhanced self down to CenFla

and I'll be there to pick up the pieces (with haz-mat tongs)

when you fall down and go BOOM, ya Jackwagon!

I want D and H Cycles to do my 1K mile service before I leave the South. It's 600 miles and a 10 hour ride to your house. If you have a spare couch, I'll ride to Winter Haven, FL and take you and your family to dinner, then ride back to Cullman, Alabama the next day. Or, we could meet at wfooshee's place in Panama City; I've never been to the Florida Panhandle.

I do plan on stopping at Petey's Haus in Stillwater, Oklahoma on the way back and take him and his Frau out fur Abendessen!

Don,

You're also welcome to stay at my house on the way there or back. I'm not sure the route you plan to take, but I'm not far from I-75 on the South side of ATL. Also we could take that Yamma pig up in GA mountains and see if it can hang with the "Big Gurl" :)

Chris, I just may take you up on your offer also. All I have I have ever seen of Atlanta is the airport, coming or going from or to some other destinations. Wherever you want to ride is just fine with me, I just need to rack up 1K miles before I blast it back to AZ!

This would allow me a day to tour Barber Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.

Consider it done, RH! As soon as Yamaha and Jerold tell me when I can pick up my Super Tenere, I'll book the one-way ticket and contact Walt and you. Boy Howdy!!!
