Kevin, Yeah I get that alot and if you notice its almost always coming from someone who's never been there. There is so much more to the area than that ONE 11 mile section of road. I've yet to find a bad road down there and everyone has its own characteristics which makes for a great vacation...

Nope I think I took that award in 05 when I dropped mine at work less then 12 hours(200 miles) after delivery..... DOH...not even enough time to put sliders on it...Oh well such is life

WoooHooo... It was great to meet you SNAP and was a pleasure helping out a fellow member wanting to get his FJR out on the track. I wish I woulda had my FJR there so I could try her out on the track too but the track is exactly why i bought the R6. All in all it was an awesome weekend meeting...

..... the subject of this thread is some "Ghostrider" vids... those who don't know... "Ghostrider" is ONE specific or maybe multiple riders through out the years (theres been many rumors on the subject) that make these videos of police chases and other high speed shinanagens in europe while...

If that is true then I must be a legand at my Dealer for being able to wheelie the FJR and 100+mph...as I sometimes use the center stand to warm up the oil before an oil change.... lol

just cut it off a half inch above the foot of the stand.. grind it flat and reweld a new plate"foot" on....1/2 inch is just a guess I'd start taking smaller bits off at a time cus it doesn't take much to affect the lean angle

Well for a second I thought it may have been me cus I'm one of the very few from this area that I know of but I don't remember goin through GM's lot anytime recently and if it was you probably would have noticed the serious battle scars my FJR's been sporting since early Sept...lol

just to add another perspective.. I ride an 05 and being around 5'10" and only weighing a skinny 135 lbs I have issues with the Top Heaviness and ride height of my FJR. I can just flat foot it on flat pavement when I'm moved fully up against the tank. In the past 2 seasons I've actually dropped...
