    Fall Tech Meet and Greet

If it's not too late, I'd like to add my name the guest list. I attended your Spring meet a couple years ago and had a good time.

The Highest Pass coming to Seattle

Just purchased 2 tickets for the 7:15 show tonight. There are almost 100 tickets sold, and 37 remaining.

The Highest Pass coming to Seattle

Tickets and showtimes don't appear to be posted for this movie at Meridian 16 yet. I just called the theater and the kid answering the phone had no idea about it, but advised that the new movie times for this weekend would likely be updated later today, or tomorrow. I'll check the showtimes...

    Volcano Ride 2010

I put together a 12 minute video of the Volcano Ride. It is posted in the Images and Videos forum. Link to Volcano Ride video. Thanks for organizing, Ken.

    PNW Volcano Ride 2010

Here is a video I made of the PNW Volcano ride that took place on Saturday, September 25th, organized by blufjr. Link to Volcano Ride thread. I included the handful of photos I took at the meet-up at Windy Ridge then about 12 minutes of riding video on one of the dev roads connecting Windy...

    Volcano Ride 2010

Doesn't look like many people are planning to make the ride from up north; however, I will be leaving from Auburn about 8:30ish with my dad to do the ride. My dad will be riding my FJR and I'll be riding my brother in law's Honda Night Hawk 996. If anyone wants to meet up along the way between...

    Ride to Elbe, WA

I just purchased a MacBook Pro a couple of weeks ago, so I've been playing around with some of my riding videos using iMovie. Here is a ride I did a couple of months ago with friends to Elbe, WA (near the base of Mt. Rainier) from Auburn, WA. It was a rare dry Spring day in the NW. Click here...

PNW Spring 2010 - Tech Meet

Well, I seem to have misplaced my Wild Bill highway peg mounts. I know it's a long shot, but would someone attending the Tech Meet happen to have a set of Wild Bill mounts to sell me tomorrow?

PNW Spring 2010 - Tech Meet

If I remember correctly, I bought the Moko (sp?) sliders. They are the ones that don't require me to drill any holes in the plastic, which I would like to avoid if at all possible. Some help on them would be fantastic. I have the classic "I'm a dumbass and I wish I would have had those sliders"...

PNW Spring 2010 - Tech Meet

AuburnFJR, I'd like to put my name down as a probable attendee to your tech meet. I've owned my '03 for about 4 years and have been lurking on these boards the whole time, and would like to finally meet some of the other FJR riders in the area. I'm in Auburn myself - on Lea Hill. I'm interested...

    Clackamas-Breitenbush road to be repaired

Thanks for the heads up. I really enjoy that ride. My favorite is to kick out to Westfir/Oakridge, then head north on FDR 19 up to Cougar Rservoir to Rainbow/McKenzie, then up 126 and 22 to Detroit and on to 46 and Estacada. I've done that a couple of times on my way back from riding the...

Very Northern Calif Scenic Highway ride

FarWest - I am doing almost that exact ride between July 19th and 23rd with my father. I would say let's meet up if you were going to be doing it a weekend earlier. If you go earlier for some reason, PM me. My plan is to ride down from Seattle to the Oregon Coast, stop at Florence, OR to ride...

    FRS/GMRS Radio recommendations.

I had a similar experience. I bought a set of Midlands together with my dad and uncle and could not get it to work with my Autocom Pro 7. If I remember correctly, I could hear, but not transmit. Autocom gave me a similar story about the resistance not being compatible between the two devices...

    GPS Question...

I have the Garmin Nuvi. I am very happy with it. It is easy to operate, the screen is easy to read, has lots of features and an earphone jack so that you can wear earphones or hook it into an autocom. The only drawback is that it might be hard to use the touchscreen while wearing gloves.

    Sirius Radio

My S50 has a headphone jack, thus, all you need is a set of earbuds. I'm sure the portable XM unit has the same.

    Power Commander

I just bought a 2003 FJR a couple of weeks ago and keep finding all kinds of farkles I didn't know about on this thing when I bought it. Just last night when I was trying to figure out how the Autocomm Pro Sport 7 works I found a DynoJet Power Commander III underneath it. I checked out the...
