I used hairspray to put them on my heated Honda grips. Just wet thoroughly (until the hairspray runs out), slide on and let set 15 minutes for the hairspray to dry. Acts like a like coating of blue loctite on a thread. Holds them steady; but easy to take off when you want to.

Why not just use the overpants and take them off when you get to work/school? Put your jeans/shorts underneath and be comfy when you get there.

Nelson Rigg has some really great soft luggage that can be used on a tail rack or on the pillion. Pretty flexable and good prices at www.newenough.com; but most (if not all of them) require some type of sissy rack to fasten them.
