    Smooth delivery in MN

We didn't even look at Motoprimo for this bike, but did look at a few Ducati's there. Seemed like a great shop (at least the one in Minneapolis) but just a far drive for regular maintenance. Thanks for the heads up, will watch them very closely if we ever do use them. AJ

    Smooth delivery in MN

Heinen's in Osseo, live in Maple Grove, so just a few miles to get to the shop if we ever need it. Kinda shopped the few bike shops in the northern suburbs, and found this shop. Don't know much about Yamaha shops in the cities, always open for opinions good or bad. We probably will do most...

    Smooth delivery in MN

It's a Kawasaki ZX12, that's what my husband rides. We used to be a all green family with a green ZX9, and green ZX12, but now we have wandered away from that brand. At least the blue and green look nice together. Thanks Howie for posting the pics! AJ

    Smooth delivery in MN

Picked up my shiney new bike last night. One more female FJR Owner to add ot the list. Have only sat on the FJR's, never ridden so I was quite nervous to drive away. I guess being a women, and having a few guys stand around just makes me think that I would drop it or something. My husband made...

what did you pay for freight and prep?

Picking mine up this afternoon, got a sneak peak yesterday. They haven't mentioned a setup charge, but I do have an invoice with what I need to pay to ride away. With tax/license and warranty i'm barely over the MSRP by $100 with the nice deal they gave me.

    fjrchik's new fjr!!

I've had issues in the past with numb fingers as well, always wondered if it's vibration or just how I hold the throttle. Don't have my FJR yet *hopefully this week* so this has always happened on my current bike, ZX9R so could be my angle that I ride? I've tried a throttle rocker, but it still...

Are there any female FJR owners?

I'm a waiter, my dealer told me next week. Don't think I will have range issues, dont have a problem currently, can flat foot my ZX9, and my hubby's ZX12. But once I get to ride the new one I'll let you know. AJ

    Results of first bike show

Sorry to hear your friends backed out, but be glad you have what you do. Harley has nothin on your FJR, sad that they think a Harley is more of a tourer than this. Oh well, way to stick it out! AJ

    USofA '06 FJR has shipped!

I haven't been waiting as long as some, but just as anxious, and my hubby is probably climbing the walls hoping it comes soon. Gave a call to the dealer, and since I was #2 on their list, I will see it next week! Now just wish my old bike would sell so I'm not forced to park the car outside...

Always sad to hear of a fallen motorcyclist. Thoughts and prayers sent towards his family and friends. AJ

    Gonna' do my first...

This sounds like fun! Wish you the best in your class. In order to be in one of these events do you have to do anything special to your bike? Or, is it just stock all shined up? Aimee

    Back from the Atlanta Show

Great photos, I can't wait to do my first oil change. Just did one on my ZX9 to get it ready to sell, and this looks much easier! Seeing all these pics, just stirs the pot and I can't wait but we still have snow on the ground here.

Are there any female FJR owners?

Another lady checking in! Signing in from MN, last year was my first big encounters with long trips and rain. Not scared of it anymore since I survived just fine, learned quick not to stand up, or the water collects in the most uncomfortable places.

New member ~ waiting for 06

Hello there! New member signing in for the first time here. From the Twin Cities MN, and have a new 06a on order. I am one of the few female ladies it looks like, my husband rides too. I learned on a small yamaha 400, then a ZX7, then my latest bike of a Kawi ZX9. I found that none of them...
