    Pie Chart for Men

One other section that needs to be added. Drinking Beer! And no, thats doesn't caom under the category of eating. Beer drinking is a activity all its own. Besides, any good beer drinker knows if you eat that takes up room in the digestive system that an should be filled by beer. To quote Ben...

    Feather River Canyon Ride

Glad to be of help. I was in Courthouse Cafe for lunch with my wife today and I gave them a heads up that a group of riders might be coming in tomorrow. I went back and read the rest of the thread and from what I see it looks to be about 22 people are going to be there. I'll give them a call in...

    Feather River Canyon Ride

As a Quincy native, might I suggest a different dining establishment? The Morning Thunder was sold this past spring, the previous owner needed to finance his legal defense on some controlled substance charges. The new owners are, well lest just say not customer friendly. I took my 14 YO son...

Yet another reason to quit smoking

Glad I quit over 7 years ago. Just saw this article on the AP: NH man charged 23 quadrillion dollars for smokes. MANCHESTER, N.H. – A New Hampshire man says he swiped his debit card at a gas station to buy a pack of cigarettes and was charged over 23 quadrillion dollars. Josh Muszynski...

    Camping with the FJR

No Feej here but I have moto camped on my Bandit several times. I would make one strong suggestion. Leave the bungie cords at home. Cinch straps or Rok straps are the only way to go when moto camping. Bungie cords are too unpredictable, stretching out and shifting at usually the worst possible...

You're welcome Griff. Glad I could be of assistance. Have fun on your trip thru the Redwoods. My family and I just got back from a weeklong trip to Grizzly Creek, Klamath, Avenue of the Giants and the Lost Coast. My wife drove the Jeep pulling the camper and I rode the bike two up with my...

    Motorcycle-friendly campgrounds near Redwoods NP?

I've moto camped at two different state parks in Nor Cal. One was Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park near Carlotta, about 20 miles or so east of Fortuna, and the other was Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park near Orick, about 22 miles or so south of Kalmath, CA. There were only two of us on bikes...

    Medivac / Lifeflight Ins??

Great thread. This is something my wife and I are looking into for our family. We have 4 girls at home (ages 10-15) and my 14 yo son from a previous marriage has been with us since November. On April 4th, he decided to do something stupid on his bicycle and crashed. Bad. 5 compression fractures...

How many significant others ride their own bike?

My wife rides her own bike. I just have to do any and all wrenching on it. She has a 83 Yamaha Seca 750 fully dressed. We bought it a little over 2 years ago for her to learn on. Now she has done a 5 day 900 mile road trip about a year ago for our honeymoon and she intends on ridig on a Girly...

    Woodpecker Joke

A little girl was walking home alone from school one day, when a big man on a black motorcycle pulls up beside her. After following along her for awhile, he turns and asks, "Hey there girl, do you want to go for a ride?" "NO!" says the little girl as she keeps on walking.. The motorcyclist...

    Woodpecker Joke

A guy walked into the local welfare office to pick up his check. He marched straight up to the counter and said, "Hi. You know, I just HATE drawing welfare. I'd really rather have a job." The social worker behind the counter said, "Your timing is excellent. We just got a job opening from a...

    Garmin Zumo is the Shizzle

I have mine on my Bandit and I use it in my car as well. I agree I love this thing! It made it really nice here recently when my son had a bicycle accident and when the local hospital realised he was having complications and needed to be airlifted to Reno for emergency surgery on his spine...

Do I need chains on I-80 to Reno?

Might wanna have them available. There ia supposed to be a storm moving into the Sierras tonight with snow levels at about the 5K foot range. Most of the time 4X4 is ok as along as you have snow tread tires on all four wheels, but it is advisable to carry the chains anyway.

    Got A Favourite Road Sign?

If I knew how to post a pic from my computer, I have that same road sign with my bike sitting next to it. Took it while my bride and I were on our honeymoon ride last May. That sign, just outside of Red Bluff, CA, is kinda like a rite of passage on the Pashnit forum.
