Irish Baby Joke and Our Curse of the Irish Shillelagh!!

Good one! Reminds me of the one about why Jewish folks might well be considered the most optimistic people in the world, ..."Hell, they cut an inch off of it before they even know how long it's gonna be!".

    Center stand removal, why not?

Can't even imagine any serious touring machine w/o a centerstand, ...hell, w/o either of them for that matter! First, it's not easy to put it on the centerstand from the saddle, dismounting after flipping down the sidestand is sooo much easier than balancing the bike while getting off, but then...

    Slap Chop

Dear old Mom had what was likely the earliest variant way back in the 60s, ...called a Blitzhacker. Worked well for years, finally gave up the ghost, none of the ones she tried later worked very well, the key was that the original was designed to rotate the blades an eightth to a quarter of a...

Capped, threaded hole on the clutch resevoir?

...and FWIW, Techmount makes a mount specifically for use in it.

    A very moving video

S'CUSE MY CAPS, ...WOW!!! Awesome! Thanx so much for making me aware of this'n! Love any music w/ a positive bent, and have been a lifelong fan of blues and early R&B, w/ Ben E. being one of my "main men". Gotta say I don't often hear a newer rendition of one my old faves that I think...

    Does punctuation matter?

I think the point of this thread, both as initially intended & in general, is more about clear communication than about expertise in gramatical technicalities. Ionbeam's post

    120/60 front tire

Gunny that, Mike is absolutely right, any scientist or engineer working in any type of research & development circumstance will concur, it's like basic rule #1 in any scientific endeavor!

    Isn't it cool when...

Isn't it cool when: ...You're on your first long junkett on your brand new FeeJ doin' a little off the beaten path sightseeing, when the numbskull with the cell phone in his ear at the stop sign in front of you pulls a ******* stunt that results in a tipover, and the first dings to your new...

    El Strippo does it again

I wouldn't worry too much about damage to the bolt, spend your concern on the rim for two reasons. First: rims are spendy to replace. Second: General rule of thumb, NEVER re-use rotor bolts!

    Maxi view spot mirror

Those are the first ones I've seen that still articulate when mounted, cool idea. Somewhere I saw a small set of mirrors mounted on the upper edges of the windshield, which while not as far apart, puts them much closer to your face, in line of sight & increasing the image size. These look as...
