Short update. Sold my 2004 FJR and put the money down on my 2014ES (VIN: 173). It's still in the crate (and the crate is inside) because we just got another 18" of snow last week. I hope the weather will come around and I can ride my 2014. Time will tell.

Congrats on the new ride. Mine is sitting at the dealership waiting to be taken out of the crate. What with all the snow and ice here in Vermont the dealer is in no hurry to assemble it (he is busy with snowmobiles right now anyway). I have PMS bad right now.

Art, the crate is INSIDE. If all goes well he should have it together next week. Now all I need to do is sell mine in the next couple of weeks. I can trade it in but I get a better deal if I sell my 04.

Just stopped at my dealer today and my new 2014 FJR ES is in! It's still in it's crate but with all the snow we just got (about a foot) it may be a while before I get to ride it but at least I can sit on it and make engine sounds. Plus I can send more money and get a few farkles. Let the...

I'm with Bergmen, I like the Red and so does the wife. All the rest of the stuff is just a HUGE bonus. Not sure if I'm going to go with a ES or A model. I want a rebuildable rear shock so we'll see. Dealer should be getting his A and ES in March. Tom

It might be nice if we could get input from someone who has ridden both the ES and the A. Or how they would compair to my 04 with Wilber upgrade.

Nice looking bike Eric. Now I can't wait to get mine. Of course, with the white stuff on the ground and ice/salt on the roads I'm not in a big hurry yet.
