    Boot dragging on asphalt when cornering

    My brother in law had this same problem I watched him ride adn realized he wasnt getting back on the balls of his feet after shifting. Once hse started moving his feet around accordingly, he started dragging the peg, not his boots.

    I have a 2005 adn I have ridden a 2008 , No difference in heat. I love my 2005, Just wish it wasnt an ABS bike.

    I find that with alot of tires on mY FJR until I went to dynabeads, Now my tread wear seem to wear much more evenly.

    My father in law wanted one. I found a 2005 Dl1000 with 7K miles, well farkled with hard bags for $5500, We bought it for $5100 and he likes it, Having a hard time between it it his 1200 LT beemer. Great bike.

    I had a 2007 bandit 1250 before, Another grear platform. Got tired of chain maintenance though. Several guys at work ride teh FZ1 though, They are trying to get setup for a sport touring adventure. I am sticking with the FJR myself. Great bikes though.

    I used the botton head screws, Just needed another hair for clearance. I just tweaked it a hair, then removed adny excess with my dremel from the screw.

    I doubt it will hurt anything, the earlier dexcool used silicant ( salt) adn it was very bad, The newer dexcool stuff got away from that. As long as its aluminum safe your probally alright.
