I have an 08 and put the Corbin heated seats on last fall, works great, not to hot just warm for me, the wifey likes the passenger seat as well with the backrest.

Like Niehart I have an 07 S4RS, I have had no problems with mine at all with 7k miles and hard riding. 6k miles between services isnt bad in my opinion, they changed the service intervals a year or so back. Sold my Ninja and CBR for it and dont regret it at all. Get a monster!!

Paulie, have them on my 08 with heated grips, no problems at all, still feel the heat through the puppies just fine.

I just put the Corbin front and back heated seats with the back rest, just took it for a 200 mile ride today and I think its much better than the stock seat, my wife really likes it too. It put me about 1 in. closer to the ground as well which was good for me being 5'10 and gave me better wind...

thought I would post an update, I lubed the track as suggested after removing the dash and some fairing to get to the parts, I used spray silicon first after cleaning the metal tracks, no change, so i cleaned them again and used lithium grease, again no change, since this bike is still new I...

Definately one of my faves, like Toecutter says, be carefull of gravel in some sections around the summit, and if its your first time be carefull on the east side of the crest, nice hairpins, I have had several HD riders cross over and almost headon me. Hwy 4 ( Ebbetts Pass ) is another good one...
