Sounds like a fun vacation.
I’m going to ride over Trail Ridge to Grand Lake. From there over Berthoud pass to I-70. Down I-70 to the Central City exit. Through CC to Blackhawk over to the Peak-Topeka hwy. Cut down hwy 7 to Lyons then home. Should be a good ride.
Be safe.

I'm 45 miles away, wish I was closer. What are you going to do while you're here? I will be passing thru EP around 10 on my way up and over Trail Ridge road.

After talking with the metallurgist here at work and looking at the stud under a microscope we feel that is weld failure.
Our welder agrees that it could be re-welded but it will not be as safe or as strong as it should be.
I am going to pick up a grade 8 bolt today and install it in the studs...
I bet it's too late to get in on this? As I just broke the adjuster stud off on my bike  . I wanted to get a riser but was going to wait. If I can still get in it would be great!

I'm going to say the part. I re-checked the right side and it was fine. I also checked the wrench at 47 ft/lbs on my Truck bumper bolts (which are much tighter) and the wrench broke just fine. I will take the wrench to work and have the calibration checked.
Hi, I’m new here to the forum and I hate to see a fellow rider go down. From what I have read on this thread Tyler must be a dynamic person that is loved by many. I am sending my prayers to Tyler and the family.

Sure I wave and most wave back. The only ones that don’t are the weekend warrior HD types that are too-cool going from bar to bar. Most of these guys see you and look the other way.
