on my 2006 the stock seat was changed at less than 1,000 miles 203,000 miles later the Corbin i got for it worked great!. on my 2015 the stock seat is fine, totally different from the 2006 (seat). also the Yamaha comfort seat has worked well for the 2015 for trips longer than four days.

2006 gen 2 with 186,457 miles. bought a gen 3 end of august 2015 has only 8450 miles thus far.....still have the 2006.

my 2006 fjr 1300a is being retired next thursday sept 3 2015 with over 185,452 fun filled miles. the new ride is a 2015 fjr1300a.....start miles ..1with many more to come. this 2006 has been a great ride have been all over the states and many rallies. the 06 will be in the stable now and used...
