Silver Aerostich Darien Jacket Size Large

I agree with everything posted above. The jacket does seem to run larger than my other large jackets. It is probably due to the fact the company is out of Northern MN on the shores of Lake Superior and even in the middle of the summer you have to wear layers. The jacket is sold and officially...

Silver Aerostich Darien Jacket Size Large

I have a size Large Darien Jacket that is pretty close to new condition. It is about 5 years old and has only about 2500 miles on it. It is silver in color and has a Roadcrafter Back pad in it as well. The back pad is a $100 add on. I would like to get $300 plus shipping from 31523 (Brunswick...

Right Side Case w/Lock and Key

I got rid of my 2003 FJR a couple months ago. I have this side case still sitting around for some reason and I am sick of looking at it. I never had it mounted, but it is used. It also comes with the lock and key. I am fairly sure that it is for the right side. I have no idea what it is worth...

    Need Help Deciding Between Bikes

I will be living in Brunswick which I think is about 5 hours away from you. I will have to stock up on monkey but powder :-)

    Need Help Deciding Between Bikes

Thanks, I have ridden full fairing air cooled Harleys in parades when it is 90, I am guessing it can't be much worse than that. It hasn't been much over 50 degrees here yet this spring, but I am moving to Georgia in July, so I am guessing that I will be hot as hell no matter what I ride down...

    Need Help Deciding Between Bikes

That would be a quick trip from where I live now. The problem is that I just accepted a job in Georgia. I will be moving in the middle of July. It's gonna be quite the climate change, but more days of riding :-)

    Rear Trunk or Rear Rack

I will try that part number. I have fabbed up entire bikes, so I am tempted to make my own instead of wait. The old style was back ordered until late July.

    Rear Trunk or Rear Rack

I will keep you posted, but everywhere I try to order it is on back order for an unknown amount of time. I will keep an eye on eBay. If anybody has any ideas let me know. I have tried the LD, boats.net and a couple others. Thanks, E

    Rear Trunk or Rear Rack

I will post up a pic. I think I saw you were comparing the rubber bumpers at one point weren't you? Thanks for all of the opinions. I will mount the trunk. It is the OEM trunk. If I hate it I will sell it.

    Rear Trunk or Rear Rack

That looks pretty neat. I like to fab stuff up. This seems like a good project. Plus, I would be able to mention my stifener kit in conversations to make people uncomfortable :)

    Rear Trunk or Rear Rack

Good info. I also like any extra weight lower, so I usually only put extra clothes and lighter stuff in my trunk bag.

    Rear Trunk or Rear Rack

I have to agree with you guys, but I put on a motorcycle safety course tonight and two of the guys there had ST1300s with racks and said they would rather have them than trunks. I like being able to lock my stuff up and remove it if need be.

I need a new LED torch (flashlight) - opinions?

I have a couple different Pelican lights. One is wicked bright, but spendy. The other is a cheapie, but still throws a good beam. They are also waterproof and float I believe. https://www.pelican.com/lights_category.php?Category=%&LampType=%&Submersible=%&New=%

    Rear Trunk or Rear Rack

I bought a used FJR. It came with an unopened, unmounted rear rack and a new, unmounted rear trunk. If I was to use the trunk I would need to get a key and a mounting plate for it. The rack is good to go. I have heard the top box causes drag, but I can leave it off most of the time. On the...

    Center Stand Technique (SPLIT)

I like that idea. I am on the light side too and maybe an extra nipple would help. I think I might paint mine black and then put a piece of red wire tha tlooks like a fuse coming out of one end. I made a stash tube that looked like this on my Buell and it always drew attention (some good, some bad)
