Is this an annual event? I'll be in Missoula on the 21st, then heading south to Grand Junction. Recon run for August's WeSTOC rally. I just miss you guys....

Last year we had WeSTOC in Spokane Valley, WA. It took me 10 days to get from Seattle to Spokane. What can I say, we got lost. Our route included Burgess Junction, Ten Sleep, etc. We had to skip Beartooth due to weather concerns. Some Awesome riding in that neck of the woods. I try to get out there at least every other year. This was our route.

Have a great time! I'll try and make it next year if it happens again....

I believe we have parked in front of the General Store at least once every year for the past 4 years. We spend our anniversary (20 Apr) at Chico Hotsprings at Pray, MT, then we head home by riding through the park as much as is possible. We generally can get to Ole Faithful and then out to West Yellowstone. Good time to visit the park. Not many people; last year at Ole Faithful there were maybe 50 people instead of the sea of tourists that are there during summer. If we get there this year we'll see if you are around.

I wonder why they suggest back tracking down 14 from Dayton WY? I had a blast riding down ALT 14 into Lovell WY last time I was out there. It doesn't look like missing 310 from Greybull to Lovell would be a bad idea.

The 78 from I90/Columbus through Roscoe to Red Lodge is a great road too! There were some SLICK construction zones last year, but that should be done

Dang, I just heard that Dirty Annie's has closed. However the bar & grill across the road from the Shell Campground is now under new ownership (this is very good news as after our last experience I vowed to never go back) and she acquired the all-beverage license from Dirty Annie's. If someone tries this place, I'd be interested to know how it is.

If you think you might need tires or a tire I'd contact Alissa before hand. I suggested that she have a couple Michelin PR4's and Pirelli Angel GT's on hand. If you know you're going to need a tire I'd plan ahead.

No idea of the prices she charges.

Good point...... if we arrive a week early........ Will have to see when Cascades, Glacier, etc. are fit for travel. We also need a spot to securely park Ram & trailer from about June 17/18 to about July 4, preferably in Spearfish or perhaps other proximity to Red Lodge. Would appreciate recommendations from the locals. The plan is to arrive early, go riding for a week and meet back at Red Lodge, go riding, end up at truck and trailer for the scoot home.

I have a lot in Spearfish which you can park trucks and trailers on. It is an in town lot never had any security issues there.
