Well the plans are all coming together nicely. My wife Deb and son Jordan will be accompanying me to Red Lodge. Two days of riding just didn't seem like enough so we will be arriving at the Chateau a day early on Wednesday June 22nd to extend this trip out to four nights.

We will be sharing a condo with Zzzzip, so the condo I have booked will be coming available. Let me know if anyone needs a condo and I can hold on to it until you are ready to book.

The 2016 Red Lodge Rendezvous Attendance list has had several updates.

https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php/topic/166302-2016-red-lodge-attendance-list/

This list includes who is attending, where they are staying, and also includes a list of riders that are looking for a room mate to share a Condo or Studio expenses with. If there are any additions or corrections to the list that are needed let me know.

I still have an unused Condo booked that I am holding for anyone that wants it. The condo has a King bed room, two twin beds in the second bed room, and a Futon or sofa sleeper in the living room so it should sleep four or five pretty comfortably.

PM Quote from walnut22

"Please put me on the list to attend I have a studio.

Thank you

Walnut"

Welcome to the Red Lodge Rendezvous group Walnut22. You have been added to the attendance list. I assume that with 9 posts you are fairly new to the Forum and that this will be your first FJR Forum get together.

I also welcome PJ4863 to his first FJR Forum gathering. PJ 4863 has moved to the confirmed list and is looking for a room mate or two to share his Condo. This is also his first FJR Forum get together and he will be riding in from New York to join us in Red Lodge.

If there's anyway to make a winter longer, it's priming for rides like these! I've never taken the bike to the other side of the Mississippi so I'm super excited for this trip!

I've scored a roommate for now, and lodging. :) June will be here in no time right?

It will be here before you know it! And you are in for a treat, Chief Joseph highway and Bear Tooth passes have to be experienced to be believed. And Yellowstone is not that far away... and the Black Hills... and.... your problem will be not being able to visit or see all that you want to. And there will be things that you discover that you had no idea you wanted to even see.

Not enough time. There's never enough time. I'm counting on figuring where to ride when it gets closer. I may need one of you locals for advice :)

I have a slight advantage in having ridden all those a few years back, except for the Black Hills...... so much to see, will have to add more time. My list is bigger...... Since I won't have many opportunities to get out there, I'm hoping to make the most of it this time.

Due to some family issues, I am changing my plans from Red Lodge to NAFO. Pretty sure I have a Studio that is now up for grabs. PM me and I will cx my reservation and let someone here have it.

Thanks,

Greg

Dislike, but understand. See you in NAFO and I will bring a shot of rum for you.

Gregory, I told you that I wouldn't hold the abandonment of the Rendezvous at Red Lodge against you, I lied! You are dead to me.........

At least until I see you again my friend. Enjoy NAFO, wish I could get to Montrose too but the big Pirate Fest gets in the way!

Damn I'm getting excited about Red Lodge. On Thursday though Sunday nights there is some high brow entertainment and great food provided by the Bear Creek Saloon & Steakhouse located about 7 miles East of Red Lodge. Last time I was there, I didn't know how popular the place was and didn't have reservations to eat. I did have a cold one to knock down the thirst of a Big Horn mountain loop ride and catch the entertainment. I am thinking of heading over on the evening of Thursday June 23rd for dinner and some fine pig racing. If anybody else is interested, I could set up reservations for a dinner group when June gets closer. Its Just an idea so far unless BigJohnSD has other plans for Thursday evening.

Bear Creek Saloon & Steakhouse Menu
The steak prices are a little high for firefighter pay but what the hell you can't beat a great pig race!

My only plan is for a Steak Dinner on Saturday night. Local Lions Club is cooking, $25 per person. Don't know if that includes s beer

You guys are killing me. The NE got swamped with snow and I'm going through withdrawals... and now steak dinners... mmmm. My cholesterol just jumped thinning about it.
