Well....it seems I CAN still log into this site....Wayne mentioned this to me on FB the other day, so I thought I'd check in. No longer on the FJR, I've got a Triumph ST1050 now. If ANYONE needs ANYTHING while in for the weekend, I'm literally 15 minutes from your base camp. Just give me a shout, and I'll do what I can..

Generous offer. Wheaton will probably need a tire plugged.

Lol..no prison. Just life in general got in the way. Finally getting back on 2 wheels. And I'm not sure the suit fits...I'm a little fluffier now...again..life...

Tom, can you cross the state border with that stuff?

Looks like first SEOR rally for me, can add my name to the list. If anyone is coming down from north Michigan that I can meet up with at the Blue Water bridge area in Port Huron, be happy to ride with you. Cheers. Mel (OZZY)

We will be meeting for the 2016 Southeast Ohio Ramble Thursday, May 12th - Sunday, May 15th at the Microtel in Marietta, OH. You can make your reservation online here. Group rates are not really better than the online rates and if you are sure you will attend and do not need the ability to cancel, you can get a single queen bed room for as little as $67.15/night+taxes or a two queen bed room for $73.95/night+taxes. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, rooms are clean, and a Kmart next door if you forget something.
Post any questions on this thread and also post if you plan to attend so we can get an idea of who to expect. There are some usual suspects that will attend and hopefully we will see some new faces as well joining us on these "flat, straight, boring roads" of SE Ohio! I will post some of prior years' routes for those who do not have them yet.

Can't wait to get the riding season kicked off again with this first event of the season!

Unless someone wants to lead the charge, there will be no website, no fees, and no organized games this year. I'm too lazy/busy/indifferent to these items and just want to ride and b.s. with others.

OK guys, I'm leaving home 6 weeks from today. It's time to start getting serious!!!

This appears to be a route that will get me there in 3 easy days and I don't have to ride the slab:

Google maps won't allow me to modify this route anymore (WTF???), so there are a few things I'd change (take Hwy 80 in Kentucky out of London, for example), but generally - what do ya'll think?

Cav47 and I talked about meeting a little closer to his house (southern IL) and then riding East from there. In that case, I'd run up the Western side of Tennessee (which I haven't seen too much).

Any input would be appreciated.
