It's not the color that should be what all the fuss is about but the new Cross-Plane 6 cylinder motor twin rotor Wankel engine should be the bigger news..
Fixiert.

The only change I really would like to see, is modify the swingarm or rear rim so people would quit putting car tires on it.That just really pisses me off.... :)
You...and everyone who "liked" your post can kiss my 60,000 mile tire's a$$. :)
Well, your tire is so ugly, it looks like ***. So I'll give you that part of your statement.

What? A Suzook RE5?

You were reading my mind on the burnt orange....... for a while now I've been seriously considering finding a nice '13 and doing it. Depends what comes along.

Buy a '13 and strip it down to the frame and bring the color palate up to modern standards.

Went to the Los Angeles Motorcycle Show in Long Beach this morning and they had a '15 people could pet.

I asked:

"So where is the 2016 FJR?"

And got answered with a smile:

"EVERYONE has been asking us that question, and we don't know anything."

There's some fodder for the "enough demand" argument.

The Kawasaki Versys also came out in a "Burnt Orange" that was really sharp!

… and late November and over 400 post on this thread, and we are still dreaming/waiting (?)

Well post 290 was Monday. I mean that was two days ago. I'm 50 now, us old farts can't remember that much.
(apologies for my intellectual lapse)
So, does that mean I have 3 years until I become a quivering NEPRT reposter? Shudder.

....Hey, does anybody know what the 2016 color is, have the finally fixed the dreaded valve tick, lowered the pegs, put in a 6th gear, moved the battery, and fixed the top heaviness that's going to kill somebody some day?

Hey you forgot about self-cancelling turn signals!

If I do nothing else in this life, I can at least point to this (so far) 21-page thread and say, I did that. My wife and kids don't realize the celebrity they have in their midst.

Not even close to the record rookie!

The thread is still young; who knows how large the greatness I have birthed will grow. Maybe Yamaha will delay the announcement further. Then folks will need to comment on the color when it is announced, whenever that may be. Oh yes, we're just getting started...

By the time this thread is exhausted, I will have a new sideline of selling autographed photos for which FJR enthusiasts will pay handsome sums.

I have heard a rumor about if when the '16 FJR will be released to dealers. I hope Yamaha announces the '16 well in advance of the actual release date so people can plan ahead for want factor & $$$. Since this release will probably be more than just a new paint job any information would be helpful in deciding if I'm looking for leftover dealer stock or waiting to find out which dealers will be getting the '16 on their floor.

Edit to ponder, what happned to the speel chaker? Is it my computer or has the Fourem function taken a vacation?
