Late to the party as usual. Just got back home and read page 17 first to see where the wake was being held! Heal up fast ya old fart. We will ride again!

Love from Sylvia too.

Glad to hear that you are better Don.

As for the: ''Bad News: My right side is so torn up my off road riding days have come to an end, my Surgeon says in particular the shoulder cannot take dual sport riding anymore.''

As ''rushes'' said:''There are other ways to enjoy playing in the dirt...''!

I want to thank all of my Friends here for the Support, Encouragement, Love and Compassion I've received from All of You!. It means the World to Me, Thanks Again.

Bad News: My right side is so torn up my off road riding days have come to an end, my Surgeon says in particular the shoulder cannot take dual sport riding anymore.

Good News: With diligent and constant therapy, both my knee and fractured shoulder should be up for street riding at Labor Day, Going to work hard to achieve this!

If you offered me a million bucks to tell you what caused the crash, I couldn't earn a penny! Approaching an uphill right hander on marble gravel, down I went HARD!

The Main Moto Event I am shooting for is FODS in West Virginia: Son Seth-Miss Donna-Granddaughter Rhianna and I could participate offroad in our Jeep Liberty SUV.
Glad yer do'in better, 'n hope you achieve your goal.

Hey, Don, don't let that doctor count your chickens before they're hatched. He's given you the usual doctor advice to cut out a risky hobby, but you won't know about dirt riding until you've healed up enough. He might even say you can't play shuffleboard..... That said, maybe take this year off the dirt to rebuild, and see what happens next year. I hope all goes well with the rehab and that you'll be feeling better every day.

I agree.

What if he told you no more sex? Would you listen to him then?

Gotta agree with RaYzerman19 and wheatonFJR, the doc's just telling you what he (she?!?!) is obligated to tell you: stop drinking, stop smoking, stop eating fatty foods, stop riding off-road, stop doing crazy shit that's meant for teenagers.

OK, so some of that may be good advice, but you're the one best qualified to sift through it and decide what's right for you. In other words, DON'T "ask your doctor if this is right for you", because they'll usually say no.

Nice to see you're posting. Where's the selfie of you with Ms Hayek?

Our good boy Donnie Osmond is now "left handed" remember? His right shoulder can't take the load anymore. But that's okay, where there's a will, there's a way...my mom always said.

Hey Bubba-Broke-Dick-Shoulder Donaldo, mi amigo...

You ain't done yet. They took 1/2 my kidney, 4 inches of gap on the femur, (about the size of your, whatcha call it, Irish shenawhalie? then removed a rib on the right side.. And I'm still dorking the dirt...

So if you want to, you know you can!

In the meantime, your job is to heal.

..and all of us feel real pity for that left hand...

JSNF!

Oh,

Hugs n' Kisses

It's obvious that soul-sucker doesn't know the true healing powers and health benefits of off road riding. Get a new one or at least a second opinion.

You will know when the itch needs to be scratched, but it could be a couple of years or more.

Heal well my friend.
