Rob, I'm calculating that you've got a 5000 mile round trip. You should win something for that.Ok I'm in. Do I win anything?

Yeah, it's yer own damn country...too far fer ya? Or are you afraid of the westerners? Or does your bike not wander much? C'mon...yer Canadian...you have to go to yer own meet. It's the LAW...Ottawa says so! :clapping:ahhhh come on it's only in Canada.... How far can that be?Great work Dave (and company). I'm already feeling bad about missing this one. Canadian FJR
Mike: maybe have a look at the "Alaska after CFR" thread started by BugR and conveniently located in the CFR part of the Forum. Yer welcome!I don't want to start a new thread about this, since the CFR folks will all be reading this one, but if it gets moved it gets moved. I noticed a thread that started a few months ago but didn't last too long about continuing the adventure in a "Northerly" direction. Now that the planning is getting more concrete, maybe there'll be more thinking along these lines. I'm thinking about stretching it out all I can too, and Alaska sounds awful tempting. Maybe even once up in Nakusp we can form some ad hoc ride groups and see who gets farthest. Why not?
Good for you Don. Look foward to seeing you at the rally or If I am on the route up stop by and I will follow you to Canada.BeemerDonS - Don Stanley (60) and Beetle - Seth Stanley (12) are now registered for CFR 2009 and looking forward to it!
We Stanley Boys had reserved Alaska Marine Highway Ferry space for us and our bike to Skagway; then we then saw this.
I was able to shift our AK ferry deposit money and Skagway Inn deposit to 2010, when I saw all of my friends going to CFR 2009 I just knew we had to be around this cast of characters! I mean, how can you pass up a chance to drink Irish whiskey with Fairlaner, dcarver, Old Michael, FJRay and WheatonFJR? Alaska will be there next year for Seth and I when I'm retired!
Dear CFR 2009 Registrar: My sincere apologies that you received 2 previous Registration Feedback requests from me 1/26.
I had changed credit cards since I last used PayPal, and on my first 2 attempts it was not processing the new Visa Card No.
I only have one question: My Son Seth is 12 years old and if you know of a "kid friendly" hotel close by that would be great!
I know the main hotel is fully booked up: Do you know of a hotel within 2 miles with a pool and nearby playground/arcade?
Cool!BeemerDonS - Don Stanley (60) and Beetle - Seth Stanley (12) are now registered for CFR 2009 and looking forward to it!
Sir, you drove a hard bargain. I'm in! Solo, but hopefully still married by the time the rally happens.Just 11 spots left as of this AM Bob, and I have your name on one of them! Lots of your Kali friends are on board, so no problem finding some friends to blitz North with. If your (much) better half wants to fly, Sylvia can pick her up in Kelowna and bring her over, or if it's easier for her to fly to Calgary, I think WebMaster Jeff may have a van load coming from there.Just say Yes to a great rally!Would you people hurry up and sell this thing out so I can start regretting....
How 'bout the trip itself being the reward?Rob, I'm calculating that you've got a 5000 mile round trip. You should win something for that.Ok I'm in. Do I win anything?

Good deal, Toe. We got a large band of marauding Californicators heading north, it seems. I hope to have all my electronic farkles on my bike before that ride. (Save it, you of little faith!)Sir, you drove a hard bargain. I'm in! Solo, but hopefully still married by the time the rally happens.Just say Yes to a great rally!
It's like this - The FJR is the bike for me since I can only have one, and CFR is the rally for me since I can only do one (this year). How could I pass up a rally put on by such great group of folks, and all my other FJR buds in that setting? What was I thinking? Where's my medication?
I just opened a CD with it.(Save it, you of little faith!)
I'll delegate that task to "her". Their kicks seem to go much deeper (usually at least halfway in), and hurt you looong time!!!BTW, the statute of limitations has run out on the testicle kicking thing.
Yer toast. Might as well start shopping for jewelry and flowers today. [Cue "JAWS" music]Oddly enough, I was emailed the following joke from Eve just after I committed my unauthorized registration....I hope it's not an omen.

The local term here is "French Canadian Folk Dancing"... that are full of ballerina's. Oddly enough, their all from Montreal. As for Canadian jargon, I've always liked the term "peeler bar"!
If I stay in Canada I have a little over 6000Kms each way. If we see and do everything we want to it will add another 2000Kms or so. We are in no rush, I have 6 weeks and Ann Marie will probably hand in her resignation before we leave because they don't want to give her the time off. She is looking forward to this as much as I am.Rob, I'm calculating that you've got a 5000 mile round trip. You should win something for that.
How far for you, NSRider?!
BeemerDons - For me I say WOOT-Phooking-WOOT! Ak, 2010, mi amigo? Very few I would like to make this run with... will PM later.BeemerDonS - Don Stanley (60) and Beetle - Seth Stanley (12) are now registered for CFR 2009 and looking forward to it!
