LeeDavis put 5 GPS ride routes together for us - I've just been swamped with work and life, which has prevented me from getting the site edited and links posted.

I'm working on it now, but I'm hesitant to share because then all the slow "stop and smell the flowers" riders like Joe and Bob and KJ will be on them slowing me down...

Anyone have any routes?

I got mojoguzzi's burkes garden successfully converted to gpx but the other route failed. I'm not good at basecamp...

Add me to the "stop and smell the flowers" list. Ain't nothing wrong with that. That's part of the fun!

I totally agree, nothing wrong with it at all.

That being said, if a rider comes up on your tail and is choosing to ride at a brisker pace, I know you'd do the courteous thing and slide to the right and wave that rider around...

Route files are posted on www.fjreom.com now (link).

There is one Googlemap link pending, but the rest are there and the downloads work on my PC in both Chrome and IE browsers - if you have any issues, please PM or email me.

I do that all the time. It's the gentlemanly thing to do. :)

I guess it's true; there is a first time for everything. I have never been accused of being a "stop and smell the flowers" rider before. Just ask Marty(and his bladder) and the group that followed me in CO one day.

Images of the Bataan Death March were coming to mind while riding in that 102 degree heat.

No ****! He slowed just enough for my bladder to get that anticipatory excitation of release, then he kept going...

No pre-ride coffee when riding with Bob

If he wasn't so damn sexy, I'd be mad at him.

Gee wizz... I need to see what y'all have done to Bob these past few years. Last time I rode with him in New England (it was quite a while back) he was a well behaved rider and a gent. A pleasure to have along.

We were in a big group, so we were, most decidedly, not rippin' up any asphalt, and we still had a fine day, as my foggy memory banks allow me to recall.

Then again, I didn't let him lead.

(Besides, he's a Pats fan. Currently in the lead of the AFC East with many of the starters "resting up"

THEY haven't done anything to me. I am still well behaved(unless I'm following Petey) and a gent. I appreciate the kind words. I had to keep track of a 29 bike pack at EOM last year. We finished with the same amount of bikes we started with. I can say, however, that I DON'T want to do that again!
