First off you guys are Nucking Futs.

Joe (I hope I got that right) thanks for the early morning send off, warm words on a cold morning are welcome at 32 degrees.

I came down from Missouri to the Arizona valley to experience riding during the winter in the warm sunshine...

...NOT TO FREEZE OFF MY ******* NUTS...

That will teach me to bring only summer gear and a rainsuit.

Johnny80's sorry about the "Butter Bombs", when the "Bread Ball" rounds started coming in I reached for the nearest thing that wasn't metal or glass. I wasn't about to go for Don's "Bread Balls", he was so passionate about those I was afraid I would lose a finger or possibly an entire hand.

I can't recall the name of the guy at our table I hit in the face with my first "Butter Bomb", he was wise enough to move for my second shot. Sir, what-ever-your-name-is, you will always have my love and undying respect for taking "Friendly Fire" for the honor of our table.

Fairlaner, much love and respect brother, you are right my little bike is very slow, it only reaches 160, the only thing I can say in it's defense is that, it reaches it quickly. BTW nice car (tops out at 130 I understand  ) maybe next year you will man up and bring a bike. :)

Old Micheal, when you figure out what I did, I want you to know my hand was forced by your friends, blame them.

If I offended any of you with my crass language or rude behavior....well, **** you, you're too much of a ***** to be in the same room with a ROYAL ******* of my caliber. :) (not really, I'm sorry if anyone took offense to my behavior)

I also learned that running 90 MPH thru mud puddles on a sportbike will coat your backside with a lovely coat of poop-colored material.

I had a great time, thank you.

Some good fun, and thanks to all for letting me loiter with ya on Saturday night and enjoy the goood times. Big thanks to Don for organizing this gig and providing just enough organization to let everyone find their own trouble.

I've posted some pics up on this thread(clicky)

and slideshow here(clicky)

RenoJohn, sure glad you could attend DVD 2010 my Brother! Just wanted to say once again how much I enjoy your slogan: "Just get on your bike and everything will be alright!" I think everyone on our FJR Forum should get that tattooed onto their forearms. Say, I looked all through the photos: Where in the Hell is Old Michael at?

Dear Ms. Monica Chavez,

As the Organizer of Death Valley Daze 2010, I want to thank you for myself and the members of both AZ Beemers and FJR Forum for the wonderful time that we had at the Longstreet this last weekend.

This marked the eleventh year that our motorcycle clubs have celebrated Death Valley Daze and your hospitality went a long way in making this a fun and entertaining weekend for us. Everyone of your employees was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our steaks and meals in the Steakhouse upstairs.

We certainly appreciate the fact that you granted FJR Forum and AZ Beemers a discount Group Rate.

Breakfast was great in Dining Area, your bar was fun and entertaining, and our rooms were well kept.

Again, thanks to Longstreet Inn and Casino! We'll see you for 12th Death Valley Daze on 1/21/2011!

Sincerely yours,

Don Stanley

Nice letter to nice folks Don. They really do a nice job there IMO, adequate accomodations with simplicity and very much a value. Not to mention in Nevada and not CA, which few of the lodging options for Death Valley are. There is a big difference staying in the land of Fruits-N-Nuts vs Nevada-style 24hour fun.

Here is the (relatively new) owner of Longstreet, I forget his name ...but anyone who sits down with patrons and kicks up his heels is good in my book. I'm not sure when he took over this place, but IMO it is a substantially improvement in fun over a couple of years ago. I know I'll be back and for me this is the only way to do DVD -beats the crap out of being in a tent in CA ....and probably cheaper to boot.

https://gallery.me.com/reddway#gallery One of the AZ Beemers Club Members, Tom - Rider351, was camped at Furnace Creek while we were staying at the Longstreet Inn and Casino. I had briefly talked to Tom on Saturday, when we stopped at The General Store for coffee and breakfast snacks around 11 AM.

Tom and his buddy Jim spent 5 days camping in Death Valley and they rode 900 miles on dirt trails throughout Death Valley National Park and outside the park.

Here are 550 photographs, showing you sights you can see if you own a dual sport motorcycle. We only saw a small portion of what makes up Death Valley!

One of the nicest items in these photo galleries are all of the abandoned, and some still active, mining operations scattered all through out Death Valley N.P.!

Nice spots and looks like they had some good fun. Nice to seem some guyz camping this year, most of the campers (it seems backed out due to weather?) While kudos to them for camping, they missed the phun at Longstreet ;-)

My buddy, Curly Joe [Rich on the Harley Davidson], now also owns a '07' FJR.

netmask quote "Bike is sold, signed over and picked up already.

Thanks for all who were interested, a local fjrforum member had a buddy in need.. and now he's got it

Thanks!"

Guess all of you crazy's rubbed off on Rich!
