My'04 turned over 100,000 original in June in Hereford Oregon. Met Rog&Deb that night by sheer luck in a restraunt in John Day Oregon. Great place for a Rally.

Still in love with her after all these years.

On the 3rd odometer. 470 miles more and KrZy8 hits 150k.

150,000+ miles as of last Saturday, 2012-12-08.

The clocked ticked over splitting LA Kali lanes on the 101 headed south to Michael Hendrickson's funeral.

90,470 = 150k, so at 90,814 KrZy8 stands at 150,344!

(oh, for those that don't know, the instrument cluster has been replaced twice.. once due to factory recall, once due to deer strike.

About time you CBA light-freaking-weight Kali hippy!

How many times have you serviced the shock in those miles???

Petey, you quack me up!

Congrats Don.
Thanks James!

Disclosure - second engine... will never compare to 03Silverbullet riding Tim's (Twowheelnuts) original engine to 200k+. Or SkooterG. Darn, that last reference kinda hurt!

101STPathfinder - that's quite a milestone from another '05 rider. If I may ask, what major work (outside of normally routine and scheduled maintenance) have you done to the bike over that mileage? Also, have you replaced the coolant hoses and if so, at what mileage?

I just can't get over the reliability and longevity of these bikes. The FJR is absolutely a "rider's ride"!

OK-OK... So since there have been 0 postings in this section in OVER 2 months...I realize this is not a "Milestone" but here you go... (To break the silence)

Are you kidding? He doesn't even do the normally routine scheduled maintenance! He rides on the wing and a prayer!

Skooter is HALF correct... Only 3 valve checks, CCT upgrade, ignition replaced and most recently I had the suspension upgraded

No updates in 2 months, I'm not surprised that Rear shock linkage maintenance link has all the FJR owners striping down their suspension, so nobody left to ride
rolleyes.gif
JamesK- Did a ride-in suspension upgrade, and they were talking about some rider who sends in his package from Japan to be serviced regularly

any idea who they might be speaking of? ;*)

Hmmmm? Are you bothered by this OD reading?

Lets do the math here...

Bought it april 2009 with 8k Sooooo

that would be like 124k in less than 4 years. IF I was the original owner that would be like 248k right?

Oh - I understand.... You are WORRIED and perhaps a bit SCARED.

You should be.... soon there will be MANY in that 200k list and soon a 250k list will be needed !

101STPathfinder, yep, guilty as charged, I end up having to send my Penske shock in every year for a rebuild (typically b/w 45-52k miles). The Traxxion guys are great, but the whole shipping back and forth to the States thing is an expensive & PITA.

I owe the forum a ride report on my visit- Great bunch !! Got a full tour....

Oh, yeah, I hope you took pics of all their cool machines and racks and racks of machined up widgets. When I visited Traxxion a few years back they gave me a tour and I was like a kid in a candy store
