You've heard of these wild Tech Days past.

Come join the frivolity yourself!

When: the weekend of October 6, 2012.

Where: the pasture of BustanutJoker in Owosso, MI.

Why: witness just how lousy of a mechanic I really am! Witness Bust breaking ****! Witness Rayzerman and yamafitter speaking in 100% authentic Canadian! Witness huron52 not going anywhere! And, most important of all: why the hell not? What else ya gotta do??

I know Rayzerman has a laundry list of stuff he wants to do to his bike. I think yamafitter does as well. I'm gonna try to clean up some of the wiring crap on my bike.

C'mon up / down / over. It'll be a hoot!

If ya wanna come by and haven't been to the pasture before, PM me or Bust for the address.

I'm going to do what I can to make this. Wife's birthday that weekend, so it may just be a day trip. Not much that I want to do, other than maybe some heated grips and add another canister to the cruise control. After the mechanic redid things, it doesn't like holding speed at warm temperatures or at elevation. I asked him to get the hitch out of the throttle. I think he replaced some of the vacuum lines for the cruise to shorter ones. That may have been the difference.

But after I'm more comfortable taking the bike apart that far that I may attempt a new canister in line while it could still be warm out. This weekend is still free. I may try it.

WTF? who picked the date? Can't make it again!!! Oh well...have a good time
It's mostly my fault. With all the fall dirt bike stuff I'm involved with it was the only weekend open for me until after Halloween .
Marty and Joe, what else would you be expecting with Andy, Bill and Bust involved (Ray and Tom are innocent!). You two just knew it had to be one of these:

Did the dog just fart or did BeemerDons post some completely useless and off-topic (but kind of funny) comment??

In an attempt to tow this thread back out of the gutter does anyone coming to this shin ding need me to bring my tire changer??

Tom is not as innocent as you think. This was the only weekend this fall that he was allowed to go anywhere.

It took great effort, but I got permission from patch308 (HotRodZilla's Brother in Red River, NM) to send a dog fart to your specific location as produced by his Rhodesian Ridgeback! ENJOY IT!

Thanks Don , that was quite an improvement over Andy's drunken beer farts we have endured in the past.

Is this thread officially derailed now?? Jus wondering.

This pic should just about pack it in completely, Brother Bill. As you Canuckistanis always say, or at least FJRPierre does: "Coup de Grace!"

Hey Bearly? see where I got me balls back for a day?

That is why Sheila never lets me have them around polite company...

Yea, I might stop by, haven't checked the air pressure in my tires yet this year, might a good time to do it. <_< I do plan to put new tires on my bike this year, but I prefer to do this in the privacy of my own garage with a good supply of beer. I've always equated changing tires to wrestling an octopus, and with me, you're never sure whose gonna win until the end. This is not a show I prefer to make public.

Alright, I'll be there Saturday morning. Main focus I think is wanting to get my cruise control right again. I tried to fix it last night and it was working. No longer works today. Maybe just a hose came loose? Not sure what other symptoms that might cost. See if I can get heated grips on too.

Won't be spending the night. Going to see Seinfeld in Detroit Saturday night and I'll crash at my buddy's place. I may still swing by on Sunday. Depends on how things go.

Have we decided what we are going to try and bust up this time? Or is it just a "free for all"?
