Think I'll wait until Spring Tech Day for tires. I'm probably close now, but its unlikely I'll see the mileage to wear them the rest of the way before the snow flies.

I'm "all-In".

Just booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express for Fri. and Sat. nights.

My plan is to ride the straight, flat, and boring's, on Fri. stop in at the shin-dig in the evening.

Hit the pool and hot tub for rest Fri. night.

Ride some more flat, straight, and boring's, on Sat. stop at the shin-dig for beer and tell some lies.

Hit the pool and hot tub Sat. night.

Hit "Iron Pony" at some point. Then flat, straight, and boring's, home Sunday.

Happy to see your weight loss program is progressing well, gray ray...... with the finale at Iron Pony as the greenbacks come flying out of your wallet.....

After looking over my bike this weekend, I need to add a few things to the "to do" list for tech day - you guys think we can fit this in?

Steering head bearing service, Fork fluid flush and fill, fork bushing R&R, rear shock linkage service - R&R stuck bearings, valve check, coolant flush, spark plugs, final drive seal replacement, oil change, tire change (front and rear), brake and clutch fluid flush, brake pad change (front), wire in new heated clothing controller (heat-troller), spider maintenance (all 6), blinker fluid flush and fill, air filter change.

I have all the parts except for the brake pads and air filter - does anyone have a set of used ones I could borrow?

I think I got a quart of used brake fluid, a quart and a half of blinker fluid, some old coolant and some worn out brake pads. Used engine oil collection too if you need some, it's right beside some worn out tires I was going to take to the recycle depot. Lemme know if you want any of that.

I have a spare relay arm which I'll bring, have you ever had the center stand off (i.e., replaced the bolts and installed in the opposite direction)?

So, I assume you're going to be there like Wednesday to get a head start on all this................

Hmm... I can take care of all this for you. I got garage space and a screw driver.

What's the worst that could happen?

And it's right-loosey, lefty-tightey, isn't it? I swear I just don't understand the metric system - to - Celsius inversion.

Looks like Ray has it covered - I'll be there at noon on Saturday - I need to leave by 7pm so hopefully he'll have some help...

But now I've reconsidered after Andy's "lefty tighty" comment - I'll just get everything done this weekend so I can help "F" up someone else's bike with Ray and Andy...
