Gnarly logs, numerous rocks in some stretches, and even the occasional dirt biker asshat willing to soak you by ripping by just as you cross a stream, followed immediately by accelerating through powdered dust to obscure the upcoming deep ruts.
Damn pretty place, though, and Summit City has an interesting, if short, history. UberKul and I were out there yesterday, and an older gent on a quad told us that in the 1850s, while Summit City was still going, the brothels were all on once side of the lake and the houses and businesses on the other -- with ferries for crossing. If it were still the 1880s, I'm sure it would have been appropriate for me to do what I wanted to do -- put a couple 0.357 inch holes in a couple dirt bike gas tanks.
