SO guys i need to know how many we will have for dinner friday evening......if there are 15 or less i will just book a table, if there are more than 15 i will need to put a $500 deposit down which I will recover at the end of the evening, this will mean no separate checks and you will need to bring cash.....

Also if we are 20+ we will need to decide if we want to sit at 5.30 or 8.30 so when you post pick a time also.

So if you wanna join us for dinner post up, if you don't post up don't expect to show up and join us because there will not be room.....

At this point Friday dinner is a "no" for us, because we can't leave until Laurie gets off work.

I've asked the boys to stay home and watch the house, and asked my nephew to patrol the neighborhood and keep an eye on my boys!

What I really want to say is that I'll see how I feel after working all day and then see if I feel like fighting rush hour traffic over to the diametrically opposite side of the Bay Area from where I work. Then getting home late on a weekend night against my rules not to ride on weekend nights when the drunks are out. That's all....

I just spoke with the lady at the restaurant and it appears that it the party is 15 or more they want you to have a fixed menu......not my first choice...

I am thinking of pulling a fast one and booking 2-3 tables as we need them, they may be 15-30 minutes apart but they do have a bar.....

Sounds like a plan. Go for it.

The separate tables/reservations bit sounds better to me than does a fixed menu, deposit, etc.

It's tough to talk with fifteen/twenty people at a table anyhow.

Book three parties of six-seven-whateverthenumber using different names if you have to.
