Hey guys, I have reserved a room for Friday and Saturday and am looking forward to it. Not sure when I'll arrive Friday but I suspect fairly early, 2ish or so and as it stands right now I will be solo, but that could change. I will be riding Sat and Sun, leaving Sunday night to start my ride back to Northern Maine. Count me in for dinner on Satuday. As you can see from my avatar, I will be the good looking one so you cant miss me!

Using Fred's format:

We will ride both Saturday and Sunday.

We would like to join up for dinner at Jesse's (Steak and Chowdah) Saturday night

Dinner Sunday night TBD

Ride up Mt. Washington TBD

Thanks very much everyone. This will be very helpful when making the required dinner reservations / call ahead.

I have edited the first post of this thread to include a tally of who, what & when.

I also went back through the original discussion thread and captured anyone's name who appeared they may have been interested and I've list them as a "question mark".

I will keep that first post updated as I receive any new participant info.

Hey Fred! I would like to make it for the Sunday ride. Especially if it is the Greens ride. I do love Vermont. I'm not sure if I will be solo or not or if the wife and I will ride up near west leb and stay Saturday night someplace. So I guess put me down as a maybe for Sunday's ride.

Eric

I'm planning to arrive solo on Friday night in time for Dinner.

Ride Saturday, Dinner Saturday night.

Ride Sunday, probably drop off and head home as we make our way back to the Hotel on Sunday afternoon

Staying at the Hotel Friday and Saturday nights.

My wife, Grace, is taking her MSF course the last weekend of July and will be getting her MC license. We picked up a "like-new" used Honda NT700V off of Craigslist for her. With any luck, she may hook up with us at lunch on Sunday and ride the afternoon portion. (as long as you guys can tolerate a non-FJR in the group)

Ed.

Hey folks,
Anyone that has solid plans (like... reservations) for attending the upcoming 2010 FJR Greens and Whites ride, please check in here with which days you will be attending, so we can compile a list and prepare the restaurants for our arrival in advance.

Please refer to the discussion thread for what, where, when info, and any extraneous discussion, and limit posts to this thread for commitments (or cancelations :nono: ) for the weekend only.

Thanks very much in advance for your cooperation.

So I'll kick it off here:

I will be arriving 2-up Friday evening before drinks and dinner at the brew pub (@~7PM).

We will ride both Saturday and Sunday.

We would like to join for dinner at Jesse's (Steak and Chowdah) Saturday night

We will not be there for dinner Sunday night.

But I will return (solo) to ride on Monday AM to Mt. Washington etc.

That's all we need.

EDITED - To add the current tally of participants

Updated tally.

I also have made the dinner arrangements for both Friday and Saturday nights:

Friday night will be at the 7 Barrel Brewery, which is a brewpub just across the (large) parking lot from the Fireside Inn. (unfortunately their menu link appears to be broken on their web site) Since Friday night can be a busy one for them, they asked that we come a bit earlier than the requested 7PM to stake out our prescribed territory. So, we can start collecting there at ~ 6:15PM for drinks and h'ors douvres, and will delay ordering dinner until around 7PM as planned.

Saturday night will be at Jesse's Steak and Seafood at 7PM. Because of the group size they will seat us in their semi-private "Greenhouse" function area. Their group coordinator said she should be able to get us all on 3 large tables. I have asked that we be able to order off the menu (they normally want to have a preselected menu for groups >20) and she is checking with the head chef. I assured her that we will not be in any big rush to get in and out. I will let you know when I hear back from them.

Since Sunday's dinner will be much smaller number, and Sunday nights are not usually busy anyway, those that are staying over can either call ahead to 7 Barrel again, or maybe venture out and find something different like MEM's upscale pizza place suggestion, Three Tomatoes Trattoria. You guys (and gals) might be sick of the 7 Barrel's beer lineup by then anyway... (Ha!! Not likely)

This may go without saying, but in order to settle up the bills on a per table basis, it would be prudent for folks to bring cash rather than hand them dozens of credit cards.
