For you Texas riders near Houston and the Gulf Coast area,
I went to HamWedesday around seven pm.
I left the house after looking at the radar and figured it would not rain much more because it was diminishing by about that time. It had just rained a littlle bit before I pulled into the Angleton Icehouse parking lot.
I was the tenth bike there and eventually an eleventh rider showed up. I stayed till about eight fifteen and when I pulled away, there were eight bikes.
The leather peacocks did not want to risk getting themselves or their chrome wet, I guess.
There were never more than two HDs and normally they almost outnumber the rest of the bikes that show up. I did take a photo of the front four bikes which included my FJR, two Beamers and an ST1300.
I will post the photo when I get the film developed soon.
Sorry the rest of you could not make it that normally show up.
Btw, I was able to have a really, really good ride today in and around the Angleton area without having to worry about the wet streets like last night.
