I went to a ride in Hill City, SD, last month and an elderly gentleman showed on on one of the little Vespa 300s. He'd ridden it from Texas to South Dakota

Got a great Vespa 150 story for you, when I returned home from overseas in the Army I joined the Southern California Motorcyclists Association.

I rode 3 Three Flags Clssics in a row with SCMA: 1975, 1976 and 1977. There was a Gentleman who worked at Northrop Aviation as an Engineer who also rode every year in the TFC, his mount was a Vespa 150 with an auxiliary fuel tank. Back then we left from the Orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico with the final destination the Red Lion Inn in Burnaby, British Columbia. He was always at the finish line, like the Tortoise and the Hare!
