Have room for one more? I'm meeting Simon (FJRBluesman) in Tustin...
The next person that wants to join the ride up also gets to pick up my lunch tab.

Brownies anybody?

MsNASCAR just radioed that a fresh batch will be entering the oven soon. :yahoo:

Hi Ed!

No, it will be just me this time. Janet is already obligated for "dog sitting" this weekend and couldn't get away. She's not too happy about that either... Looking forward to seeing you folks tomorrow. That, and the brownines... :D Janet says Hi!

Slappy's wearing a dress??!! What happened to the kilt?

Dammitall! Sorry to hear that Lanny. Get well quick!

Need another "fast group" leader - you could be kinda hard to replace. Yo! Fairlainer! (...running for cover...)

Home safe @ 4pm.

Great meeting all the new faces and seeing old faces... some ugly.... Johnny80's.

Some one post a ride report, I'm too tired and hot, although I'll contribute some amusing antidotes and pix. It's past Beer thirty so I need to catch up.

Man it was bloody hotter then hell in San Berdo. I did not bring my cool vest, bad decision. I also did not bring my camel back, but had water bottles, bad decision #2.

Lets see... I rode just over 200 miles, and at least 100 of them was on the slab.

Great ride, thanks Gerry!! :yahoo:

Me and the Mrs. home safe and sound at 5pm. Thru Hemet, Sage Rd, back to Temecula and 15 down to RP. We got tickets to something downtown San Diego at 8pm so we had to keep moving.

Jean says best thing about the day was the people.

Hope everyone made it home ok! Well done Slappy and Dave!

Slappy & Dave,

Well done. We all had a great time AGAIN on your Big Bear Lunch Ride. Thank you very much. We hope you repeat it next year.

Ride report here.
My daughter took this pic on the way home from temecula. Probably one of you. Hope you had a good rideFJR Rider
He was with us. :)
Thanks for the ride report. I didn't know the Gixxer went down today, saw the bike at the restaurant with some scrapes and thought it was old damage. The rider didn't seem to have a scratch. I hope he's not too banged up, and hopefully everyone else made it home in one piece.

Made it home at 7:30pm after breaking off from Slappy, NeilSanDiego, and Mikey. Had to stop at Kennedy's Karne for Carne Asada and refrieds to take home for dinner. Great ride and lots of fun. It was good to meet a lot of you that I had only chatted with before or pm'd back and forth with. The folks in this group are some of the best. DJBill, the picture your daughter took is of Morepower60 (Michael Arwood). Had a blast and by the time we were done going through Idylwild I was fried. Thanks again Ynotride, pegscraper, MsNASCAR, NielSanDiego, Slappy and Mikey for the great ride through the Valley of Hell known as Redlands/Yucaipa/Banning and riding into the mountains of Idylwild where the temperature dropped a good 20 degrees from what we experienced while waiting to get on the 210 freeway at 100 degrees plus. Way too much fun today, we really have to do this again. All of you that are on facebook, please post pics to the Big Bear Ride event if possible. I will do a copy of what is on here already and add them to the Event post. Take care all and see you again on the next ride.
