Great photo dj bill, I am a total sucker for yellow Labrador Retriever puppies!

Oh my. I can smell his puppy breath from here

Rustler......seventeen years and, alas, no longer counting.

Lester.....one year, now, and very much counting (my son's pup, now one of two almost identical black Labs that he has).

It must be that kind of week. Yesterday we said goodbye to Rush, our 14 year old Golden Retriever. It was a good life, and he shared his enthusiasm for it.

Damn, Tom, that is not good news. This thread is full of sorrow but we all keep heading down the same road even knowing where it leads. There must be a lot of joy here, too, although the timing does not match up well at all.

This is our lab Cody. We call this his "Remington" pose. He was utterly fascinated with the coots floating

through the decoys at our duck blind last season.

His first pheasant hunt...

And of course, when guests are over...his "****" pose.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Tom

I have Rush's bookend. My guy is named Hardy. 12, and still plugging along. Hips are shot and his R rear toes drag once and a while, but the Metacam keeps him going.

Aw, man... I'm so sorry to see so much loss going on. :( Sending you all e-hugs.

My daughter just adopted a new puppy about a month or so ago... his name is Tiger and he is a total goofball... he's a pit mix (although I call him a pit-noodle mix because he's so wiggly and goofy... ).

The old man of the house, Bart, is not so pleased at having a young whippersnapper running about the house... I'm sure he's thinking something like "GET OFFA MY LAWN!!" in old man dog speak. These pics are a few years old when I took him with me to a track day...

We dodged a bullet earlier this year when he was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor near his heart. The doc put him on Prednizone to help make him more comfortable... and 3 months later the tumor was gone. Seems very rarely that med will dissipate the tumor... wish it were that easy for humans too! So we got a reprieve and are making the most of it. :)

awe, awesome pics Ty!

Bartman is so handsome.

Tom? Hugs delivered. Hardy says, anytime you need a fix, he's happy to leave fur on your shirt ;)

Here is the latest addition that will be coming to the Stanley Family, our little Labrador Retriever Oso is two weeks old tonight. We will welcome him to our Chandler Casa on Friday, October 26. My 64th Birthday is 10/28 and Son Seth's 16th Birthday is 10/30, what a perfect present for we Stanley Boys. We currently call him Osito, "Little Bear"; but when he hits 75 lbs., we will call him by his full name of Oso!

Hi Everyone,

Time is flying by, can you belive that they are already 2 weeks old!!!! They are up walking which is really funny as they can not see where they are going, like bumper cars in the box =) They are finding their voices and a few barks, growls and howls, they are so cute. Eyes will be cracking open this upcoming week, then they will have a whole new world to explore.
