Thanks for the quick reply Skip, the make up of the group will consist of great off road riders such as yamafitter Bill (was on CC ride with us), Russ "rushes" (also on Copper Canyon ride) and AJ-HotRodZilla; running to the other spectrum of ****** and old dirt riders such as Myself and Tucson Joe.
If there were two dirt routes to each nights destination, one for the hot shoes and one for the old farts, that would be so ideal. You know Tucson Joe and Papa Chuy have no problem with riding Mexico by ourselves, we both have been riding Mexico many times just going it alone.
Old Age and Treachery will Overcome Youth and Skill Any Day! To that end, I plan on purchasing a Suzuki DRZ 400 just for RdeC: Cheating with light weight!

Don Stanley

Don it is great to hear from you.
Just last week I was in discussion with Juan about the itinerary for this event We are close and with the final tours of the season now in the field we are seeing some breathing room to get caught up.
The challenge is getting the right amount of "adventure" in there without pushing that envelope too far. On that question I'll need your input and speculation on the make up of the group.
Lets set a deadline for end of next week to have itinerary firmed up and be ready for you to promote at the FJR Rally. I'll call you next week.
Thanks again Don...hope to see you this summer sometime.
Saludos.

https://www.azbeemers.org/forum/index.php?topic=4449.0 Mi Hermano Skip, I know you're busy attending to business, as things should be! Plus please do not feel I am bugging you, but I do have a Question! Do you think that you may be close to a tentative itinerary and a tentative pricing for our Real de Catorce/Huasteca ride?
We know Easter Sunday in 2015 is April 5 and we will avoid that time frame, we also have agreed on nine days duration for this RdC/Potosina dual sport adventure.
In previous posts to you I'd mentioned setting a group limit size of ten to twelve, I now believe this group could be made larger: A lot of Mexico M/C Vets responded.
Thursday, May 29 kicks off the Southwest FJR Owners Rally that is being held in Silver City, New Mexico; if you had info available, I'd hand out MD flyers to them.
I'd use your info and place it on standard letter size paper, including a photo of Real de Catorce and one of the Potosina pools; in order to get this ball rolling along!
Sincerely yours,
Don Stanley
