Paint it. For me I'd leave it, but for the work you've put in so far, go ahead and get it painted. No sense having that one mismatched part when you've even had the fender painted.

+1 for painting it to match. It doesn't look 'bad' as is, and most wouldn't even notice since they haven't had the pleasure of following your detailing of that beauty. But since you've gone so far - and have the matching paint on hand - go for it.

I'm looking forward to someday seeing that work of art in person.

Another 'twilight zone' moment

Just yesterday my bride was telling me that her sister in law was helping her understand the 'thing' we men have about motorcycles: it's analogous to women and shoes!

It didn't help -- my bride doesn't understand the shoe thing, either. Lucky me.
