I just took this picture of this special airplane Saturday. Unfortunately, I had to fly out there, so no bike.

The other building had an SR71 in it, btw.

ho, the Spruce Goose, you are visiting the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum! lucky!

Another particular airplan, at "le bourget" airport. But again, impossible to to bring the bike to have it with the aircraft

So maybe we have to go back to the game :)

Any airplane (or aircraft - chopper, space shuttle, whatever) with a story that makes it special.

And "special" doesn't have to mean historically significant. It might be something personally significant, like if Matt was playing tag with us, I'd take a shot of his bike in front of the Cessna he soloed in a few weeks ago.

Ya jus' has to 'splain the story of the airplane.

hmmm....might go for a ride up to NC on Monday. I'll just keep an eye out for some of those UFOs I read about being in that area a lot. Maybe I can get a pic with one of them.

Ok....looks like the airplane tag is still "it" so...I submit my entry..

I passed this one on my way to Iron Pony when I bought my FJR and decided that I'd make a return trip to snag a picture with it. From what I understand, it was a retired Naval plane that was bought by the VFW and turned into a memorial site.

And now, for the new tag, I give you the " Highway to Hell" tag

So...not only was this road St Rt 666, it was also quite possibly one of the WORST roads I have ever ridden. The road was been "patched" with tar/gravel making it slicker than snot. I felt the front and back wiggle all over the place the entire 14 mile stretch. To claim the new tag, how bout either your own state's Rt 666 or ....something Rock & Roll related..

Just looked it up, about 225 miles one way from me. I was just near that area on the MD20/20 rally Memorial Day weekend.

For you Easterners 191 (old 666)from Clifton to Alpine, Arizona is like the Dragon X 100.

Well, this sat long enough for me to go on vacation so here goes.

This turned out to be quite a fun road to ride but I kept thinking about the AC/DC song Highway to Hell the entire time we were on it!

New tag, your bike with some type of a mural. Not sure if we've had something like this before or not. This was on one wall of a building in Ridgway,PA at a pottery and woodcarving shop.
