Oh so true. And unlike some other animals, cattle don't move out of the way very fast. When they decide to move at all!Actually, that critter is anticipating the setting sun and has learned from experience that the road is a warm blanket in the cool of the high desert at night. They literally will try and sleep in the middle of the road making that stretch less safe between about 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Actually, as I understand, that is one of the new 'Reflect-O-Cow' installations. doubles as a reflector and a speed awareness device. :lol:
