I'm not completely against leading a hwy 12 ride. It's not my fav, but it doesn't suck either. The wife is on board for a get together at the house with the SWFOG peeps. She came with me to Taos, (Toas!

) and enjoyed the people and riding. We could do a burger/dogs lunch with trimmings. And bring a swim suit, we have a nice pool.

Hi all, I have been absent lately due to the move to our new digs in Prescott. We do enjoy the roads and the National Parks in Utah. We had property in Teasdale (next to Torrey) a few years back and have traveled the many fantastic byways in UT. Hwy 12 is our favorite from Bryce Cyn to Torrey. If you make it to Torrey, you must take that road back to Capitol Reef Nat'l Park, near the apple orchards, campground and Petroglyphs. We have our favorite restaurants in the area and are anxious to sample again.

3 days are not enough time to take in so much beauty and great riding adventures here. So choose wisely and take time to stop and take in as much as you can.

+1 Good advice. The road you mention in the last section is a "fee" road, and definitely worth the money!

I've reserved a cabin at a campground in Torrey for the 27th. Will ride from Salt Lake City that day, stay in Torrey that night, then do some exploring as I make my way down Hwy 12 and over Hwy 14 into Cedar on the 28th.
