Bust and 'Zilla, I just got an e-mail from SacramentoMike: Done Deal, Don! In the meantime, I'll be laying down lots of plastic sheeting. Mike D. has us covered for lodging on Thursday night 9/13.

I penciled it into my calendar too, since I'll be retired in about 10 days 8 hours and 40 minutes. I might be able to make it. Plus, I'll live closer (in Idaho).
According to Google Maps, to get there I'll have to ride from Salmon, ID up to Stanley and to the Banks Lohman road. I hope I don't get too tired, from all the twisties.
If I get tired, I'll probably have time to rest up through the Oregon section since I can only go 55 mph.

Will we be traipsing back through Vegas then?? I've a buddy out there I haven't seen in 20 years and, if at all possible I'd like to spend an hour or two there.

Sounds good to me Bust, but no matter what plans that you and I make ol' HotRodZilla will piss, moan, cry, snivel, whine and bitch just like a damn little girl!
PS: Barry, "Miss Lucy Liu" is yours to ride as long as you care to while out West. If you would like to stay in Vegas with tus Amigo for a few days, I will just escort "Cupcake" to Interstate 40 and he will head to Albuquerque and I'll continue on to Phoenix. Is your buddy a biker? If he is, I will contact RenoJohn and he can lay out some great Nevada riding routes for you guys.
PSS: Have you ever killed an Indian? I killed my first Indian with RenoJohn and he even helped Mary Ellen - MEM kill her first one when she came out for Death Valley Daze. I'll let RJ know you are coming out West and he will train you in his vast Indian killing skills!

This is turning into the 2012 version of the almost-annual FJR West Coast Rolling Cluster Feck, never before seen since the 2011 Wheatie-Airboss version! Which reminds me, why don't you two hop on your bikes and come out for this one, too?
But B-Don--can't believe you're planning to bring Bust and Zilla up through Cali and run them straight up I-frickin'-FIVE! What about the famous route 36?? What about 101? The Pacific Ocean, for Petey's sake! We've got some destination roads, you know. If Bust wants to return to AZ by Vegas, you need to modify your route heading north, buddy. Suggesting I-5 to 36, W to 101, N to Crescent City, 199 to Grants Pass, then LaPine. Others will probably have input here too--you're sure to pick up more than just me for this deal here in Sac.
