Pittsburgh - Buffalo Lunch Meeting

I will be meeting up with a buddy of mine tomorrow who went to school in Edinboro so I'll ask him for some recommendations.

Kids are keeping me busy this week, so I hope to have a place nail down this weekend along with a date. So what date will work best to get the best turn out, Aug. 23 or 30? Put your yes or no next to each date.

Trying to read between the lines a little I get the feeling the 15th or 16th might be a little close to get a good turn out. So lets narrow the dates down to Aug. 23rd or 30th to give people a little more time to plan and a Sunday seems to be the better day for most. (I hope steve_g can still make it.)
I'll start looking in to the food choices and post up tonight or tomorrow; as well as start a list of who will be attending.

What I do is scan a few Food network websites; like Dinners Drive-ins... or maybe "Man versus" stuff. These make it more fun and a more "iconic" food destination. Trust me on this, at SEO I put "Hillbilly Hotdogs" on one of the loops. Def was the most popular of loops thanks to the food porn (and the place was simply unbelievable!).

So Sunday the 23rd works for me and Debbie. The 30th kinda does?, but it is the week right before Labor Day Weekend and I have the Finger Lakes Rally in Watkins Glen that weekend. So prob hectic for the 30th.

On other forums we call this RTE (Ride To Eat)........ I could possibly make the 29th or 30th. Post it and they will come. Allegheny's sounds good, tour the narrow park roads, etc.

Let do Aug 23rd and meet up for lunch at noon. I have our lunch spot narrowed down to two places, I'm just waiting to hear from a friend if the places are good or not. I hope to have the place nailed down by tonight.

I have started a list on the first post listing the people who will be there as well as the maybes. Keep me posted if you will be attending or not, I would like to call the place ahead of time to give them a heads up with a number close to how many will be there. I've been to places in the past that get annoyed when they get 15 - 20 people show up at once and want it to be good for everyone involved.
