Ok this isn’t Edinboro and hope everyone doesn’t mind the lunch stop being about 50 miles further east than planned. Just talked to Roxanne at the Tippy Canoe Inn and she is good for us coming on the 23rd. Here is the address: 99 Hill Dr, Tidioute, PA 16351, she said there are signs on 62 pointing you to the place. I hope the Ohio guys don’t mind riding a further than planned. Came across this place and thought it looked a little too good to pass up. I was asked to call on the Thursday before to give a more accurate head count, I told her now 10 to 20 people, so she can have enough staff to handle her regulars and us.

We have a date and a place, I love it when a plan comes together. I am really looking forward to this.

Tidioute, LOL. Not close to Edinboro. But of course I'll be there to see the Northeast/Midwest clan. Trevor leaves for college in Erie and was going to drive his car to Edinboro to meet us. I'll have to ask him if he can still meet us in Tidioute. That's an hour and a half away from Erie. We'll see. It would be nice to have the youngster there.

If any of you watch American Pickers, Tidioute was a place where Mike and Frank stopped to pick. Nice little old town on the Allegheny River. Rt 62 was repaved in some areas and is a very scenic road. Watch for critters. Plenty of deer and black bears in the area. I saw a black bear crossing one of the back roads near Tidioute last Fall.

Thanks for putting this together Dean. It's nice to have a ride to look forward to this month.

That adds an hour (and Turnpike) to my ride...I hate the Turnpike. An old friend had a hunting camp in Tidioute...it's been about 30 years since I've been up there. We used to stop at the Zig Zag Bar on the way up, it was at 69 Beaver St. Lickingville, PA.

2 1/2 hour ride for me if I take some slab. Joe you're welcome to ride to my place the night before and ride up with me the following morning. You have my number.

Thanks for the invite...but I've got a 50th Bday party to attend on Saturday. I'll see how I feel after that.

Not a problem for me. But I sure can relate to the guys that hate the turnpike. Last time I went that way (Wednesday) it got shut down for 3 hours, but then I got the escort of honor to get moving again.

Joe,

I will be riding from Cleveland via US-422 and OH-88 towards Sheakleyville, PA. From there heading up US-19 to PA-285, PA-173, and PA-27.

It looks to be a little more interesting than the Turnpike.

4hrs, 203mi for me. Count KJ and Debbie IN!

So, 400 miles in one day is nothing for me, but for Deb?, it will be right at her max! oh boy.

note to self: put back on the RDL fugly seats.

Yeah...but what time are you leaving? The route that I was looking at, that included the Turnpike was gonna be just over 3 hrs. Your route has gotta be 4+ hrs.

Google maps shows my intended route at : 3 h 4 min 142 miles.

Turnpike would be : 2 h 51 min 162 miles.

I'm planning ksu no later than 7:30 to allow for construction, flower sniffing, and or getting lost along the way.

It's a mere two hours for us, straight down Rte 62! Laura and I will be there. Mike, Tim, anyone else, want to join up and head down?

Hey Mike, love to ride in with your day Laura. I believe Tim will be crossing the border with me. Let me know when you are planning on rolling out and I will make sure I am there in time to join you
