That adds an hour (and Turnpike) to my ride...I hate the Turnpike. An old friend had a hunting camp in Tidioute...it's been about 30 years since I've been up there. We used to stop at the Zig Zag Bar on the way up, it was at 69 Beaver St. Lickingville, PA.

Joe,I will be riding from Cleveland via US-422 and OH-88 towards Sheakleyville, PA. From there heading up US-19 to PA-285, PA-173, and PA-27.

It looks to be a little more interesting than the Turnpike.

Yeah...but what time are you leaving? The route that I was looking at, that included the Turnpike was gonna be just over 3 hrs. Your route has gotta be 4+ hrs.

Joe, if you'd like to start from Espyville, PA, let me know. I'll be at Lake Pymatuning and have an extra bedroom. Easy-peasy from there.

Beside, there might be beer or sailboating or stuff like that.

Mike, Google Maps says 2 hours down 62 to Tidioute (didn't try it with exact address) so I would say we leave Eden by 9:30a to be safe. What say you?

Mike is aiming to arrive at my place by 9am, and if we hit the road from here by 9:30, we should arrive at the lunch place by 11:30 or so. Rte. 62 is a fine road for the way down. On the way back, we may just wing it, looking for 'blue' county roads going in the general direction we are aiming at. I'll figure something out this week after I get a chance to do some mapping.

I will tell the Tippy Canoe we will get there about noon, but I will be shooting for a 11:30am arrival to chat it up with the owner Roxanne a bit.

4hrs, 203mi for me. Count KJ and Debbie IN!So, 400 miles in one day is nothing for me, but for Deb?, it will be right at her max! oh boy.

note to self: put back on the RDL fugly seats.

KJ, offer to give Debbie a full rub down when you get home. I'm sure she will feel much better after that.

When you have a minute double check post #1 that I have the number correct for yourself. If it's wrong PM me.

I scrolled through all the posts a couple times and I think I have everyone on the list in post #1. If someone is missing please PM me with the name and number attending.

If you know someone who isn't on the forum and would be interested in attending, by all mean extend the invite. Just shoot me a PM with how many more to add to your total.

I have to call the Tippy Canoe on Thursday with a number so they are prepared. Right now we are about 20, so if three or four extra show that isn't on the list it shouldn't be a big deal. As long as it's reasonably accurate they will be happy.
