Denny...can you come up and get mine off of the center stand? Still another month before my next appointment with the surgeon.

maybe it's me just getting older, but winters suck! Yes I snowmobile, but every year I look forward to it less because what comes with it. Again, this winter sucked!

Also our coldest February ever! Not in 50 years, but ever on record. Def not bragging about that shit to my grandkids (when I get some)...no no no noooo

I remember loving winter as a kid.

Not as an adult.

Since I moved, the 5 month winter turned into three weeks. I'm going riding this weekend after a three week drought. Have ridden every month of the year.

I say all this because up north, it seemed like my first long ride of the year was always The Ramble. Talk about rusty.

Y'all take care, and I'll see you in May when you can kick my ass in person.

I've been taking my 16 y/o son skiing (he snowboards) every weekend I don't have to work this winter. I really enjoy having something we like to do together. If it weren't for this single activity, winter would be completely unbearable, but I'm still looking for a job in a warmer location. Winter sucks. Not being able to ride really sucks.

Where do you ski at, Phil? That is my one winter hobby, also..... Winter still sucks though.

Sometimes we go south to Mad River, sometimes north to Brighton, Alpine Valley or Mt. Holly. Just one day adventures within a two hour radius of Toledo, so we're stuck with the smaller mountains. We want to take a long weekend and try some better places, but that probably won't happen this year. How about you, where do you go?

So, on my way back from Miami this afternoon I took took this picture.

This is roughly just south of Gallipolis, which is a bit west of the Ramble location this year, from 41,000 feet. My copilot couldn't understand why I was getting so excited (I made him take the picture).

I typically go south to Mad River. It's only a bit over an hour drive, in good weather.

I have gone east to Boston Mills/Brandywine. But I highly prefer Mad River over those two.

And then I have gone into PA, to Seven Springs. And that is an amazing resort!!! It's a long drive, though. :(

I'm looking forward to meeting you in May.
I think we met very briefly at the IMS in Cleveland..... :D

But yes, looking forward to May!! And warmer weather!! And riding!! And twisty roads!!

(^^^^^Awesome picture by the way....)
Oh! I have a bit of hearing loss, so I didn't really hear who you were. Now it makes sense.

Hey Phil...I think I can see Hillbilly Hotdogs down there...on the south side of the river.

Room is booked for my son Trevor and I. Looking forward to another episode of straight, boring roads. I hope we don't wear out the center of our tires too bad this time. :)
