Have e fun old man...thanks for the offer, but I ain't that easy.
Good call Joe. Next thing you know ol' Ray will be sizing you up for butt nekkid leather chaps!

I've been taking my 16 y/o son skiing (he snowboards) every weekend I don't have to work this winter. I really enjoy having something we like to do together. If it weren't for this single activity, winter would be completely unbearable, but I'm still looking for a job in a warmer location. Winter sucks. Not being able to ride really sucks.
Where do you ski at, Phil? That is my one winter hobby, also..... Winter still sucks though.
Sometimes we go south to Mad River, sometimes north to Brighton, Alpine Valley or Mt. Holly. Just one day adventures within a two hour radius of Toledo, so we're stuck with the smaller mountains. We want to take a long weekend and try some better places, but that probably won't happen this year. How about you, where do you go?
I typically go south to Mad River. It's only a bit over an hour drive, in good weather.

I have gone east to Boston Mills/Brandywine. But I highly prefer Mad River over those two.

And then I have gone into PA, to Seven Springs. And that is an amazing resort!!! It's a long drive, though.

I have a season pass at Seven Springs, and was there today. If you're ever coming this way let me know. We are about an hour away, bur you'd be welcome to stay if you're making a weekend of it.

I've been thinking about that!!!! Sure would be a site to see!! Hmmmm......

^^^^^ That is awesome!!!!! And my set-up wouldn't take much. I ski with blades. So they are short. And no poles. So the blades can fit across the bike, side to side. :D

Dang you! Now I want to find a day to ride to the ski slopes!!! Hmmmm.....

The parking lot could get tricky.

I think she also has a DS
That is true, Joe. But it would probably take me twice as long to get there. The DS is definitely not as comfy. And no windshield. And it's only a 125cc. More off-road than on.... but it could get me there! Even in a snowstorm!!! Gonna have to try that next winter. ;) :D

Alright peeps. About 46 days until it's ramble time!!!

Now, I do NOT want to start an argument....

So, does anybody (who is attending) have a car tire on their FJR? Just a simple yes will be fine. I would love to see one in action (in person). Thanks.

As per our website countdown, 47 days but more importantly (to those not in yet).. only 32 days till the room block expires.

On the CT. You want to go w a group and follow one. Watch closely the sidewall flex and shift, and also the tread that's actually touching down in the turns. It's not all that bad, but, not nearly what a MC tire is. The ones who DS have the longevity advantage by far, and that is the claim to fame there.

Back to riding. Well it's 50F here, but I'm waiting on a couple of wash down rains to clean up our salt & sand drenched roads.

If the Geeks make it, Andy has a CT on his.

Edit

BTW, he rides two-up with a CT and I have trouble keeping up with him sometimes.
