LLFJRP - Stock NGK or NGK Iridium (very pricey, but long lasting) are good. I’ve used both. No real power difference w/Iridiums, but they did last over 25K, then I sold the bike.I am in for this. I need to learn how to work on my bike and stop paying out the nose for the shops to do it. I just had an oil change done but am sure I could use a TBS and possibly Spark Plugs because I don't think any of the shops have done that in quite a few miles. Neil, please send me a pm with the address to your place. Also, what are the best plugs to use on the FJR? I usually just take whatever the dealer installs.
Also you need a very unique spark plug socket, one that works. It's very narrow in the tubes where the SPs reside, you need a very narrow or thin walled socket. Others that have changed their plugs know what I'm talking about. Sometimes the socket likes to stay down with the plug and not come out. It just plays with you, it's all rather fun.
