I am hosting another Tech Day at my house in Fallbrook, CA on July 12th.

We have a tentative Valve Check and Adjustment scheduled. If that does not happen then we will work on Lanny's bike and ******** like we always do.

Show up at 9:00am. PM me for my address.

My wife has graciously volunteered to make another 5 pots of coffee again. If you want bagels we need another volunteer to pick them up since there are no bagel stores in Fallbrook.

Please PM me if you are going so I can send you my address and post your name on the list.

Will be there:

Johnny80s - Coffee and Guacamole (back by popular demand)

Lanny

FJRBluesman - Chips

ColdCut

Slappy

Vstar2FJR

Fairlaner

Silent

Snow Aviation

NeilSanDiego

Maybe Losers:

MCML

McRide

Losers Unaccounted for:

2006FJR

Confirmed Losers:

Dj Bill

Lawrence - Bagels

I'm in

I just got a Rifle on my '08 - so if someone wants to check it out, that is fine. I got a nice little rock chip on my first ride on Angeles Crest, so it is nice and broken in already :( [down low and small so not that bad, just annoying]

I just hit 9k, and suspect the factory/dealer didn't do the 8k service (bought Factory Sales Rep 49-state bike with 8.1k miles with new bike 12 month warranty)... or at least booth coolant and oil were low. So coolant topped off, and I just did an oil change to be safe (and oil looked dirty).

I'll be looking to /be interested in

- install sliders (I don't have the hex wrench large enough and I'm too cheap to go out an buy one for just this)

I may take care of this before the tech day as I have my Lap of California later this month... may stop off at a friends to take care of this one before/during this ride

- BJM - for giggles, so it is enable, don't expect to actually need/want to adjust anything.

- disable the windshield auto-retract

- suspension checks/adjustments ?

Things I've not done yet .. so possibilities ??

- admore light kit install on Givi V46 with Premier Cycle sport mount (install inside Givi - easy, wiring reliable connector into bike, etc - slightly more involved)

If your wife makes another giant bowl of guacamole, I'm in.
I told her no guac since you and I were the only one that ate it last time. I will save an avocado for you though and you can get guac on your burger at Rainbow Oaks. Is that good enough?

Bring it on! It will be nice to work on another bike besides Lanny's.

After all, I have to keep you guys busy. Ya'll know the saying 'bout and idle mind... Or in Simon's case "An absent mind..."

Sounds like a great day. I will try to make it down if I am back from the far north by then.

Probably not around that weekend but... I'll show up if things change... I'll offer my bike as a model of 'Who the f...k put that together?'... Hey, it works for me.

Hey Johnny,

It's been a while but I'd love to stop by if there's room for one more. Might give me an excuse to buy another farkle item. I could bring the bagels if nobody's got those covered yet. I'm just down the road in Temecula.

You are very welcome to come. Lawrence has the bagels covered already.
