Brad I so wanted to do this ride and was hoping the bike could be ready but no such luck. Got the front end off doing a service, the back end comes off next and several other items still to go before WFO. I wanted to be ready this year and not wait to the last minute. Please be safe and I know much fun to be had on this ride. The 3 passes ride in 2006 was my first ride with the group and most memorable. PM. <>< :yahoo:

I'm out. We have daughter(s?) visiting from the bay area this weekend, and they don't come around very often.

Old Michael: Seeing that Markleeville on Highway 88 is very close to Reno and always on the lookout to help fellow Irishmen get a free drink. Are you aware that Monday afternoon there'll be a Brit wanker at Harrah's? RH: An easy touch for a drink!

Hope you guys are having a pleasant day. No rain yet I see :)

It's 1345 hours and I just managed to fit the sink in the top case  Out of here 0800 tomorrow for CFR - meeting the Hycles IF they remember the place

I thought is was a perfect day for a ride with friends, cools temps and threatening weather. Too bad my camera operation wasn't as great, I had somehow cranked the exposure compensation way up so most of the pictures were too blown-out for public consumption. Just have to try it again. :yahoo:

Brad... Thanks for organizing it yesterday.... Great day. Ric, Karen, Mark and I went home over the Kingsbury Grade and down into South Lake Tahoe... Found a thunderstorm, some hail and lots of rain. Made the trip home longer... The wind through Davis was really blowing and I looked in my rearview mirror and Mark was gone. I hope he didn't get blown off the road. Thanks for putting it together... And yes Karen finally got warm... Rich

What a fun ride and great adventure. Thanks to Brad and the great company that joined in.

Brad -- Were you able to stay dry on your route home?

It rained on us, a little heavy at times, from Lake Alpine to Arnold. No drama other than playing dodge-bike with the peddle pushers.
